This drama is good but lot of problems. Fluffy moments of ML and FL are my favorite. ZWY and WCR are Great actors.

Than there are the problems. So many things just being told instead shown. Liu Mantang as Lu Wen just never been shown at all. Her relationship with Ziyu also never explicitly shown thus audience do not understand their past bond and relationship. Which makes Ziyu seems obsessed with her and she so indebted to him. I just think it need a full episode of flashback to show FL as Lu Wen and her life at Yang Mt.

On early episodes, they spend too much on Liu Mantang pottery business. I feel they could cut that. It was way too much and do not serves purpose unless to just shown LMT was freaking capable leader and person.

Those incident also never shown, Lu Wen supposedly attacked King's camp and broke the agreement which turn ML hates Lu Wen over betrayal. But again it is just told instead shown so I can't grasp a gravity of ML obsession and hate towards Lu Wen.

Ziyu become Emperor was timeskip " Three Months later" It was so sudden. No build up or anything,

Explicit contents do not makes a good story. Game of Throne teach me that.

Whenever they need her to play younger version of character, they just need put front bangs on her.

I know your sentiment. But if ML do not take initiative and pursue her than there is no romance and no story to tell. It is not real life, drama needs to be happening.

Liu Mantang wanted to become a good wife. Amnesiac Liu Mantang was another side of her. Human is complex, even if they have inspiration and dream but they also have deep desire.

Desire sometimes is not always in line with your aspiration.

You explained really well. But I really want drama just show it what happen in Mount Yang with FL, Ziyu and the other girl. I think half episode of flashback will be enough.

Cui rejected her attempt to get laid three times. She deserve to be angry.

They already told about illegal iron trading and whatnot. But so far they do not explain it fully in drama. So far it was her uncle was the culprit but they do not give a slight hint that FL also involved in big way. I guess you read the novel so you can know those plotline. So far what I know, FL work for bodyguard agency, she hated marriage and fake her wedding. Then escaped to Mount Yang. She meet Ziyu and bonded with him. She made her name as infamous Lu Wen during this I presume. But for some reason FL run with the money and get betrayed by another girl.

How and why FL do certain things is still mystery to me. I still just guessing of those with very limited information. How she good at martial art also do not explained. Who is her teacher ? Her grandpa? Her dad? Her uncle?

In last episode, I feel her family is too ordinary. I thought she was born in martial art clan.

After she fake her marriage and joined Yang Mountain, somehow she made her name as Bandit leader. But they do not show it at all. How about little flashback?

Honestly I am little bit lost with FL story . It still unclear how FL can ended become infamous Lu Wen.

For real, it is not. Ancient China was extremely patriarchy. Casual beating and verbal abuse towards woman were so common. There was a story about maid executed because she fall asleep on Emperor chamber. Medieval and Ancient era were full of cruelty. If it upper class, life of woman even more harsh. Remember noble woman need to bind their feet and practically make them unable to walk or move.

They need to modify a story for modern romance. Simping man also the one.

I feels ML just "play stupid game, get stupid prize "with FL. He knew FL is enemy but still immersed himself in this marriage life. But he can't help fall for fL because amnesiac Liu Man Tang just irresistible. Devoted, adorable, beautiful wife. Who can resist?

Liu Mantang just thirst for her hubby despite all suspicion and hostility.

So far I liked no super toxic female character like any other Cdrama. Even annoying cousin is kinda smart and do not go overboard with her agenda.

Both Cui are same person, who dares to question it anyway?

I think Liu Mantang genuinely liking ML. She compliment him so many times.

Novel usually just too edgy for sake of it. So many novel have toxicity borderline abuse but somehow FL still love ML for no reason. FL is masochist or what.
