S2 is such mix bag, lot of hit and miss. The pacing oh my god, it just feels so off especially on later episode. First 15 episodes are perfect than it get quite messy after Xy and Jing reunion arc. Xiyan and Haoling war just really letdown, CX declare war than it is over already on next episode. Haoling King was like " I am too old for this and gave a throne for CX " lol what. War between Xiyan and XL army was just too short and have no impact.
My guess they do not have enough money for big battle and need to wrap it up. Still this drama left a good impression for me, it is a journey that worth watching.

The only reason why author do not ship Xiang Liu. Because that will be exact same story of prequel. Prequel story is frenemies romance of XY's parents between Princess and bad boy Demon.

Poor Cang Xuan, even in the dream he have no chance. At the end, XY do not reciprocate his romantic feeling , XY just simply told he killed her beloved gege. So cold.
Ep 19 is such fine acting chop from both Yang Zi and ZWY. Even though it is damn Inception. I know it such "got you moment" but at least those dream serve some purpose later on.
