Yeah. I remember he had the flashback but if we just have to go by assumption that he connected it together. I guess I'll take it. I honestly wished we would've seen more of a reaction from Ziqi about it. That's a integral part of his background.

The story has become choppy and less connected but is it done on purpose? Does the scriptwriter want us to feel like real life MiaoMiao at the beginning of the story. Everything she complains about sounds very similar to what a lot of us are thinking for the recent episodes. At this point, we get the idea that Ziqi is Fu Zhou. And if he has forgotten about the real life like Miao Miao is starting to forget, is that why the plot is illogical to real life readers? If it is, then I'd commend the writing!
I have so many theories in my head lol but we have 8 episodes left and I can only hope for a good twist to come out of this! Sorry for the long post but this story is grabbing so much of my attention.

This arc still gets to me though. Ziqi's birth revelation was quite flat. It makes sense to me that the rest of the people like Marquis and Consort knows but even through the dream sequence how would Ziqi know any of that relates to him? I swear they emphasized him not remembering anything before 7. Unless, he just says whatever to it because he's long accepted he has no parents.
And here me out. I can't get this thought out of my head after today's episode:
I'm so obsessed. I know we're all wanting a kiss because I do too but this chemistry of our leads has me nonstop giggling and squealing every 2 minutes. The supportive looks from Ziqi, the cuddle, the hugs. I cannot get enough of these 2. All the small gestures give so much value to their dynamic. 😍
HIGHLIGHT: "It's fine. From now on, just say whatever you want. I won't be mad." - Ziqi 😆😆 It's so wonderful we're always clearly seeing Ziqi's progress. I love when leads have personal one on one conversations. But I agree with the majority, why did the explanation of the bracelet get brushed over? or are they holding off on that for another plot point later which is why Ziqi still has a 1% doubt?

My exact thoughts. Ruoshi could have left the bracelet on her when he realized she still had it on. The princess could have told her people to get rid of Mu Yao. All the typical plot points that would be used to drag for 40 episodes but they got straight to the point instead. Which I'm glad they did because we only have 32 episodes.

Never would I have thought to be enemies with a black bracelet. I'm not even upset at the Marquis because he's just as naive. This whole ordeal just breaks my heart. Ziqi calling Miao Miao a liar and tying the hair band back by himself had me bawling. These 2 can make me really feel the emotions of their characters so well. I love them so much for that.
