Yes, totally agreed that their chemistry is organic and natural. Love to see how they overcome all difficulties.
Right?! In some odd way, they're both going to be the beacon of light for each other. We currently see more of Ming Sheng helping QIngyu but I wonder how it'll be when it's the other way around.
I am eating this plot up!!! I need more. I watched all 8 episodes so fast. The more things unravel, the more I want to understand and learn about these characters. Sure it's making my head hurt with certain topics but realistically, I like that it's unraveling in an orderly manner.
I'm all for the growth between both of our leads as a couple and individually. With what they both are going through, I feel the connection between them comes on more naturally. It's not too rushed.
I am so intrigued that I finished the novel at one go. Wow! The novel is good IMO, hope this drama adaptation…
Omg! Glad to see you are watching this one too. I was tempted to read the novel but I was thinking to wait until I finish the drama. Is it much darker in the novel?
I just finished Ep. 3 and holy smokes, I like this! It has an interesting start and I think it's great the pace jumps us right in but still with enough details to fill us in. I was a bit nervous reading comments about ML's behavior but actually, his behavior is quite realistic to a teenage boy's style of flirting. I'm not going to deny that he is being an annoying jerk. But the small details such as ML wincing when the ball hits FL gives a nice insight for us to keep track of. I just expected some toxic super red flag of a ML or something from what I read before starting lol.
So far so good for me. I like how FL is bravely going through with her sisters case. There's so many 💩 characters around her. And I can sense the chemistry. Go Zhou Yiran and Zhang Jingyi!
I've been waiting for this one and almost missed the on-air announcement. I'm so excited! and better yet, I love the "Jingyiran" name for them. It's so cleverly cute!
I'm watching this one simultaneously with the other 2 dramas so I'm a bit behind but damn! The 1st episode got me with the love at first sight. Dr. He is such a cutie. They have the sparks!
Even though overall I loved how it was wrapped up, I still think the ending, like the very final scene, could've…
Omgg. I plan on watching the entirety later in one go & have been doing my best to avoid spoilers but I can already feel the emptiness. I'm so nervous & excited.
Episode 27: I enjoyed learning about Ziqi's full background story. It's such a heartbreaking story and the more…
I can understand her hating the Dad but hating on Ziqi literally is nonsensical. It's not his fault for all the choices his parents decided to make. Idk that just irks me to no end how bad she's throwing her hate onto him. She's starting to give me resentful women vibes instead. 👀 I mean c'mon haven't we all experienced that one girlfriend whose made dumb choices in love and still continues no matter what advice we give them? So again, I understand her anger but to be mad at Ziqi is mind boggling to me.
Episode 27: I enjoyed learning about Ziqi's full background story. It's such a heartbreaking story and the more it unfolds the more trauma hits him. Like why does Ding Yuxi cry so beautifully? I literally want to cry every time he cries. But there's one thing that frustrated me as I watched Liuniang explain things to him...
