I'm watching this at a turtle pace but I just finished Ep. 7. As someone whose literally grown up her entire life with guy friends from childhood like Yingtao (and still do), it annoyed me to no end with all the gossiping. Some people need to know how to stay in their own lane. And on top of that, the teacher telling her to keep distance even after Yingtao explained their friendship. I understand the teacher has good intentions but I've had my good share of similar conversations which can be quite frustrating.

Does anyone know what Qingyu's letter to her future self said? The one she opened in the final episode.

I wrote my comment before seeing this but I totally agree! Having chirpy enter Qingyu's life in her lowest point was so cleverly done. Unbeknownst to Qingyu, she alongside chirpy learned to grow and heal.

You bet my darn loser heart fluttered when Ming Sheng quickly came by to help Qingyu escape after the performance. What a powerful scene. She faintly smiled realizing the Ming Sheng she knew was back. Despite those harsh words, he came back to still watch out for her. She knew she really hurt him when he didn't step in to help her that 1 time. She lost her safe space but now she can be rest assured Ming Sheng will still be Ming Sheng. Ughh my freaking heart.

And the dance scene was so touching. Added with the "Journey" OST and flashbacks, I nearly cried. The symbolism with her freedom just as chirpy who finally healed and spread its wings hits different.

Agreed. It's such a conflicting feeling. I love the story & can't wait to see the end but I don't want it to end soon too. Lol. I ate this plot up so fast. MingYu CP is so good. 😭❤️
