i watched this without reading the novel, but i had high expectations bc the novel’s author is my favorite author ever.
This is brilliant. It became my favorite drama.
I loved the characters so much - their pain is so relatable that I often found myself excusing things WKX did because I understood where he was coming from. The acting was so on point!
I cannot stress enough how AMAZING is the chemistry between gong jun and Zhang zhe han. Even with the censorship, this drama managed to make the point clear, and all the small little scenes: the little details, touches, gazing looks, - everything is so damn romantic.
The first episodes were so fun, I laughed a lot and fell In love with the characters, and how they created that “family vibe”. The latter eps though, made me cry a river and it was a rollercoaster of emotions.
I’m glad I gave it a chance. The special epilogue episode was enough to calm my heart about that ending, too, so I’m really happy.
A 10/10 for me, without a doubt.

You're entitled to your own opinions... but people saying this was "slow-paced"? This show was realistic in the…
I totally agree! I feel like a lot of people in general wants to see the same characteristics in every single drama without taking into account that different genres and different plots will have different approaches to relationships between the main characters. Personally i feel that if ATOTS was more "fast paced" with more sexual scenes instead of the "slow burn" thing they went for, it wouldn't make that much sense in the story. Considering that the whole plot that is basically about Tian's journey into become a better version of himself and finding love in the long and painful process, specially attached to the fact that PhuPha is more of a shy, contained guy when it comes to love, it fits perfect that the whole thing was more slow paced.

This is probably one of the best BL dramas i’ve ever seen. Everything is on point. It’s a masterpiece. It’s such a fresh story, and i’m so happy about it - i think i grew tired of the same school/college thing most of thai BL have, and this is so, so good. The plot very unique. Earth is absolutely perfect as PhuPha! For me it's his best role yet. He was amazing in this one. Mix was also really good! his acting was superb, specially considering he’s a newbie. What a great actor! They had an amazing chemistry, and their scenes made me smile all the time. All the side characters were all great. I loved how all their friends were so supportive all the time, specially Dr. Nam and Tul. I can't even put in words how important was the fact that they made Tian and Tul talk so openly about his sexuality and the way Tul dealt with that. The drama itself teaches so many life lessons, as we watch Tian journey. Tt was really touching, it made me wanna read the novel so bad! this is more than i expected, a 10 out of 10 for me. I would personally love a special episode (because thai dramas made me eternally afraid of second seasons) to see what happened after the end of the series in more dept. This was really great!

I actually liked. I don’t think this is half as bad as people say. I was expecting a huge disaster based on the comments, but it wasn’t like that for me. I mean, of course it doesn’t compare with GGS1, and maybe it’s because it’s been a while since i watched ggs1, the story wasn’t as fresh on my mind that it made me compare the two dramas too much. There are some major plot holes, and you have to ignore small differences from the s1, but i tried to overlook them. it’s not a drama that i expected a perfect plot line tbh, with a perfect story and perfect characters. for me, it was more on the lighthearted side.

The change to robotics didn’t bothered me THAT much tbh. I think it’s easier to understand what’s happening in the competitions in ggs2 since we can actually see the action, so even though it’s not my cup of tea it isn’t something that i disliked about the drama. Also liked the change of cast, and the fact that it didn't have so many flashbacks as in ggs1. Above everything, my favorite thing about this is the relationships between the sisters and between wu bai and the KK members. I live for their friendship, and they're always so supportive of each other!
The timeline didn’t confuse me at all, neither the little changes in the plot. I personally didn’t think it was so confusing to the point of not understanding the drama.

So at the end i wasn’t disappointed. I expected more, but it wasn’t that bad, just not better than GGS1. i think if they maybe had advertised the thing more as a spin off other than a second season it would be better received.
overall, it's a cute lighthearted drama with a little too much episodes (it gets way better paced after they get together!!!) but fun and enjoyable.

Wbl 2nd season was written, plan and filmed right away with s1 so that gives me relieve. Most season 2 are made…
yes, me too! i think the fact the second season was planned together with the first makes hard for the plot to be ridiculously unbelievable like other dramas. i hope we get a good, fulfilling at the end of the second season!

On POINT! Taiwanese and Korean BL shows are superior from technical standpoint (acting, script, direction).....if…
i agree! i think plotwise Taiwanese and Korean BL are giving us something really fresh that deserves more screentime. i never watched any BL from Philippines, but i'm gonna give it a go!

usually this is my type of drama, but i'm trying really hard to keep watching so i will put this on hold and try again later. i think the biggest factor for me to not enjoy this drama as much is because i'm annoyed by the FML most of the time, and by her friends too. i hope this is just because i stopped in the earlier episodes and things get better later on, since it's 24 episodes long. ML is great tho, and i DO think they have chemistry, but it's jut not my cup of tea.

i loved this so much! wasn't expecting much at all, but it surprised me. their acting was great, the cast was good, the chemistry between the leads was amazing and it was very heartwarming to watch. i think i only have one big complain: i think 6 episodes weren't enough. i would like to see more taiwanese and korean bl with more episodes, like the thai ones. i feel taiwanese and korean bl are really, REALLY great, but the stories always feels kind of rushed because it's only 6-8 episodes. this drama specially made me want see a lil bit more development between the leads before the ending (even though i loved their relationship).
i liked the ending overall, and i understand that things ended like that so the second season would have an actual plot instead of most of the bl dramas that got 2nd seasons got ruined bc the writers end up filling the plot with unnecessary drama. however i can't help but to be afraid because i don't think i liked any second season of any bl drama ever. i can already see there's gonna be some drama - with how the things ended, and Shu Yi's father, but i'm excited to see what's in the future for this series. can't wait for more!

i noticed too! i don't get why. most of my favorite jdramas ratings are something in between 7-7.9 here on MDL and they deserved so much more.
