I've tried all these methods ;)
#1 and 2 are automatic for me after I finish a drama. And ya lets not talk about how long my to watch list is.
#5: Watch a different genre, I try to do this between dramas ...lol like smelling coffee beans between perfumes but in this case the coffee beans tend to be great....anyway, this means I have to look for something different and #3 is a good place to check, but really just means a longer to watch list.
#4 and 6 tend to just distract me for like a day bc not the same as a good drama
Nice review! Thinking back you are so right, everything yet nothing happened. Oh well, at least I remember enjoying it. I think the biggest issue was that they wanted to focus on every thing, politics, action, romance, revenge, family and so on. Really they should have just picked two to focus on which in this case I'd choose politics and action.
Yes the weak spot was mostly was Anna's character, but don't get why people are hating the actor when the real issue is the character lacking depth. And for the revenge thing I kinda choose to see it as he is practical and keeps that in the back of his mind and worries about the people, Anna, alive now.
Never thought about it but ya the title is misleading. I am a Ji Chang Wook fan, but I'm just glad it didn't turn into Uncontrollably fond where I felt Woo bin basically led the entire show (loved suzy in gu family book but this was a crying mess). I really enjoy having a great cast and this show did.
Kim woo bin, Ji Chang wook, Park Hyung sik, seo in guk are the first few i thought of
Lol the stages are so true and I'm definitely at accepted, real life and dramas just have to work with each other.
I try to watch 1 or 2 airing dramas that way I am forced to limit myself. I also limit myself to 1 completed show and try to have something to do while watching. There is no way to leave dramas so the only thing that can be done is management.
whilst it was airing everybody was so hype about it saying it was the best drama ever and stuff, now the realistic…
Lol where were you, they were bashing it from the start, but I don't get why people had so any problems with it. Remember how everyone was accusing the mom of domestic abuse, he actually slipped. Its like focusing on one aspect and not being able to see the whole picture. This drama was meant to be a comedy but people are judging it like a mystery.
I'm going to miss the cute couple too. So refreshing to see a nice coupe, nice guy (not a rude jerk that is using the girl) and nice girl (one who isn't a damsel in distress and isn't super poor).
They should break into the Cdrama scene. On the other hand I like watching my free fan subbed dramas...for FREE....
But it isn't just the money issue ( i have netflix) but that it would be more difficult to find completed dramas. Netflix only keeps a few shows. It doesn't happen often but sometimes I prefer certain subs over others, or seeing the comments on viki. Dramafever and viki are legal but will they be able to compete with Netflix if people only use it for old shows and not the new ones that Netflix will pay to get exclusivity
I have watched like two kdramas on Netflix, they were completed dramas and I think that's what Netflix should stick with. However getting exclusive with dramas is annoying. I like watching dramas on viki at times so I can read comments while watching. Plus subs tend to be really good on viki, I wonder if Netflix can compete.
Plus I wonder if this messes with the dynamics of things, I always though it was cool that subbers would spend time to translate for everyone, and be so quick. I know a second language too and I have been wanting to help out subbing, it would be a good way to use my language skills and grow them. In a weird way it made dramas a community thing.
Lol totally agree with the crazy chick thing, and Kluen Cheewit was awesome but sadly haven't found more thai dramas like it.
Honestly I'm scared about the intensity of the forced relationships. I am not picky about a wrist grab but some of the thai dramas are straight out abuse, and that makes me scared to try another thai drama.
Lakorn is very entertaining, I definitely prefer the first part on the Island, I would have given it a 10 but…
I like the island part too, I watched until 12 and now I am struggling to finish. I'm guessing the sister will be evil but Fah will totally forgive her and that kind a thing annoys me about thai dramas. I'm thinking of skipping a few episodes since I really want to finish, anything I should not miss?
Honestly, I don't get the bad comments and low rating (on DL) because personally, I'm very fond of this…
I think 8 is a pretty good rating. Honestly I think it is hard for a non rom-com to get popular. While this drama is really amazing, like an intense chess game, I have to say that most times I'd rather watch a flawed rom-com because it is more enjoyable. I think it was the actors here that sold this drama for me, they are just brilliant and I really want to know how it ends. Like how do you end a story where everyone has committed a crime.
I'm really scared about what the writer will do, bc so far it is good but there are like 8 more to go and I'm scared we will run in circles.
I'm also super super confused.....why in the wold does she need a derm appointment. Her skin is flawless.lol
I liked the drama in general, very cheesy but funny. I think the gangsters were not necessary after Bong Soo beat…
Let's be honest, a lot of the drama was too much...not that I am complaining. And for all the people complaining about that, it is a supernatural comedy, like what do you expect?
Anyway, I agree they really dragged out some things, but the main leads made up the lost time beautifully. It was refreshing to see a nice guy and nice girl couple, simple and straight forward. (They didn't let the noble idiot syndrome drag and didn't have Ji Soo make the plot messy)
The only thing that bothers me is that they never explained why she got her power back, unless I missed it. Is…
Nope no actual reason given, just like they forgot about his family and the toothless twin. Oh well. This kinda drama I think is meant to be enjoyed for the fluffiness.
imo rather than Xin Yu's naive character, Xiao Yue's fiery character was more compatible with Yiting.…
I was thinking of Someone like you ( blind guy meets girl that looks like dead ex) and Autumns concerto. These two just felt to have a similar pace to this one and while they are decent good stories I wouldn't expect anything super extraordinary. I am sorry, I love you was a fun Thai drama (ghost guy involved) in case you are interested.
I'm too obsessed with Strong Woman Do Bong Soon to remember much else .... maybe Marriage, not Dating or Another Miss Oh ( tried to think of good but not too popular ones) Full House Thai version was good too

If you want something light -Full House
For something more intense- Kluen Cheewit
