i wasn't sure about the drama when it first started but it gets better with every episode. I am so glad I stuck with it.
So excited for next weekend, it is so hard to predict so i wonder what new direction theyll take the story

Yikes I only saw one, but to be honest some of these are in my plan to watch list. I kinda get it that you would drop, because they lack the extra edge that makes an okay drama to something kinda great.
Personally ill give these a chance or maybe watch in the background while I do chores. Why? For the same reason I watch those stupid hallmark movies from time to time. Light decent entertainment, plus that fast watching button at speed x2 or faster is helpful.

I can't stand how they talk about rape. Especially the males. This one girl in a lakorn I saw was clearly traumatized;…
Thats not even the worst part. The rest of the characters are willing to give the rapist a second chance bc he is her "husband". Frankly this makes me see them almost as bad if not worse than the rapist. The bad guy is bad bc he is evil or messed up. But everyone else is supposedly normal so shouldn't they no better to be supporting instead of throwing her into the fire.

I remember watching my first lakorn a few years ago and I don't remember the name but I do remember how the male…
I think i saw the same drama, she wasnt just raped but locked up and I was shocked. Anyway, I have to admit I was amazed by the acting. Grossed out? Yes totally. But somehow the acting had me sold.
I think thai lakorns need to realize that not everything can be forgiven. I would have been fine with him repenting his own life by some community serving thing. I get that he doesn't know how to express feelings angle but ignorance is not an excuse.
What frustrates me even more is that they are like its husband and wife and thus everything is okay. Or even worse as in this drama, they are husband and wife bc they "slept together" so now he can do whatever he wants. In this case then do rapists ever can punished? Ughh i really hope everyone who watches the drama knows it is wrong.

I think these tropes (1 to 4) are great bc they give the characters reasons to show strong emotions that are fun to watch. Don't know why people complain about them bc these days they tend to have a nice twist and even if they dont as long as it is well done I would watch it.

Am I the only one wishing for more cute scenes / hints on potential romantic relationship between Ma Yi-deum and…
Honestly, ill just be happy if the guy does anything other than serve as just a connection to mom. He has the background, it should come in handy and he can do more than just being a normal empathetic person.

I'm probably the only one not being that excited for the 2-episode extension. I am enjoying it a lot but it's…
I'm not liking the extension idea. Drama is good, but not one of the best supernatural ones I have seen. I think I just like it mostly bc havent seen this type of story played out.

I'm worried extension will make it draggy, and really don't see a need for it. Besides I am at my limit with this drama bc of his carelessness, he is suppose to be "the best" but ends up dropping stuff or leaving them open, sure there might be a reason but still don't like it. Plus the girl is frustrating. They better not be doing this to make it more romance like, bc a little bit is enough for this drama, plus I have a feeling that girl will become a damsel in distress soon (maybe kidnapped? lol just guessing bc have seen that story one to many times)

This drama is great, and I think the best thing I did was watch this with Witch's court. Both dramas are great stories, law themed, with great actors and I'm really curious what will happen next week for both dramas.

But while WYWS is more supernatural and romance focused, Witch's Court is more realistic and cold. Watching it together balances it out for me.

I think people might have expected too much from WYWS, it is good, and while it did drag a little I think it was important as a set up for the stuff happening now. Like some shows start with slow first couple episodes to set the stage, WYWS does it in the middle and it is starting to make sense now. Hope people don't give up on it. And there is nothing wrong with hating a popular drama, I have not liked several, but somehow it is starting to feel people are looking for reasons to not like popular dramas.... (don't hate me people bc I will be first to admit that sometimes I hesitate to watch a drama bc it is popular and sorta become extra critical about it....then later I'll realize it and think it wasn't so bad)

The age confused me... They were 13-14 during the story, and there was a mention of them entering middle school…
At first I was happy with the 6 year difference but then realized he didnt return at 20.
didn't she say he wasn't 30 yet, like 14 -15years passed for him,
I would have preferred it to be the first way bc i prefer happy ending to the one where is super old and sacrificed everything.

I really liked the last case. Even if the format can be repetitive it's still watchable. Tbh I think the dreams…
I don't think the lawyers idea about time was right. It could set a dangerous precedent. Like people might not want to perform transplants, bc focus moves from saving lives to instead being responsible for ending a life. Under his idea, people might purposely hurt someone to take their organ but can't be punished bc doc ended life not them. Its a scary idea.

I think Woo Tak's secret is just building, it has to be bigger (or else ill be so disappointed). There isn't the usual creepy music giveaway so I'm actually curious what the write has planned.

where was hong ju? Can't she report on this stuff and gain public attention or something......hoping she plays a more useful role, and is not there just to be the damsel in distress. At least they had her pop in at the end I guess

It is not just you. I find her acting choices too emotional for every scene. As I type this I realize that may…
I think that is her acting style, like it reminds me of her in We are Surrounded but worse. I think she is pretty and did like her in that drama, but still the annoying-ness is too much here. But probably not all her fault, kdrama writers/directors have tendency to make females stupid at times.

I think it is just becoming spotty as he slowly becomes human.
I kind of gave up on the details. Like how can he be so careless and leave door open and drop important info.
I am interested and curious enough to watch, and they probably have some reason for it all but still kinda annoyed.

Nice review it touched on everything. I avoid high school focused shows, bc I want to avoid typical high school drama, but this one really kept my attention. It focused on the more dark issues. It didn't become super dark and complicated, but the underlying messages were there.

But I did want to say that they do say they don't have any authority and it would be easy to look up basic jury trial requirements. It wasn't perfect and that makes sense since they are kids acting. I do admit there were moments I raised my eyebrow like shouldn't she have given the evidence to the cops first (tickets) and how could they let the roof walk thing go.

How could they let trial go on? I think the fact the news covered it kinda filled that hole for me, kinda hard to do what you want when people looking. Plus the teacher video was there.

Agree they all seemed to have issues, how could they not in such a system. I think it is because of the psych concept learned helplessness. Like you care at first and try but seeing it doesn't help you give up.

I was thinking that it was interesting and a good thing the writer didn't have all the kids blame themselves. At the end of the day it isn't their fault and a message that real people should hear. There was also the message that kids should speak up, but it doesn't waste time blaming them bc honestly they probably feel it (the could have and should have) and are already hurt. No need to state the obvious. Instead they need to hear that it isn't their fault.

Definitely want to see actors in the future as well, and lol I did recently in an airing drama (wasn't a lead role, but I was surprised to see someone i could recognize)

Lol I don't always write so much for dramas, guess that drama stayed on mind

I'm on hold in this one. Not really sure if will drop or not but so far everything is just so...boring and slow…
I enjoyed the simple story, I guess it was a nice contrast to some of the more darker or complicated stories Ive been watching.
But I think you should know that even till the end nothing major happens, it is the same slow pace. In other stories they might take stuff that happen later and blow them into huge issues, but in this story the issues and resolutions happen in a calm slow melodious manner. Plus while the family and friend interactions are nice, there really isn't too much depth or "major" character growth.

I have to agree with City Hunter. It was one of my first dramas and I did enjoy it but I didn't enjoy the romance as much, like underneath I was annoyed at him pushing her away and then showing up. I only watched part of Playful Kiss (thai) and bc of the same reason didn't enjoy it and stopped watching. Its frustrating, and I don't need the male to be head over heels in love, but just needs to show some emotion and support for the female.

Love Me If You Dare, I kept expecting the girl to do something important later bc of impression at the start but that never really happened. If they didn't want it to be about her than shouldn't have focused on her to begin with. The romance in it was like the comedy they have in a thriller, for a short quick laugh and nothing to help with the story.

I feel the same for all the drama except full house. I think the only reason the drama worked because of aom-mike's…
The only problem I had with full house was the lame separation at the end, but I think for a thai drama it was actually not as extreme as it could have been.
I think them acting childish a sign they liked each other. It was nice seeing a couple that isn't mature. I think what convinced me were the expression the actors would make as they looked at each other. But i'll admit since they were "beautiful" it did make it easier to watch.

I am still not convinced by Suzy's crying skills but more by her actions. I wasn't moved by her tears when she…
that crying while sitting on the bed was ridiculous, but then she totally showed of her acting the rest of the episode so I can forgive it for now. But did I miss something? The relationship between her and Lee Jun Suk....i felt like it was friends one second then next they are rings and kisses.

Agreed, I really got tired hearing about the robot cleaner, leaving out that scene would have been perfect.. The story is repetitive enough with the dreams so i think they should try avoiding repeating other content.

I loved how they switched the typical main characters in kdrama.Usually the male lead who has an emotionless character,…
Thats so true, if it was the other way around and the guy was like that then everyone would be so understanding and say its because of his mom.
I don't think she is "emotionless" but more like a face you have to put on when working a job like she has. I like that for once there is a mature female character, and of course she has to do what she can to win the case, losing would hurt her and also her client. I guess she might be a little overboard at times, but its not like she needs huge character development, just some polishing.

My schedule now:

MONDAY-TUESDAY --Witch's Court , really curious to see how this will go

WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY Mad dog, still have to catch up but it seems fun
... and While You Were Sleeping, better than I expected...the actors might not be as versatile but they are great for this role.

SATURDAY-SUNDAY Black, its okay...things make more sense at ep3 but might drop if things don't get better asap

I remember back in the day when I use to watch only 1 or 2 dramas at a time to limit myself, lol times have changed
