Happy Birthday, I've seen him in movies before but first time learning about him and the fact about his wife "They dated for 13 years; she was his first and only girlfriend", is just super cute. ^_^
I'm super excited and scared. I at least have more hope for this than the death note series coming out soon.
Can Sota be a good Ichigo? I haven't seen any of his works yet but maybe you all might have some idea.
This is insane....how could you just narrow down to 5 songs??
Though I like plenty of drama ost and Asian music, I haven't heard any of the 5 on the list so Ill be sure to check them out.
I normally don't like this type of female lead but she was impossible not to love. She was naive but not foolish. She was so caring, maybe overly but it was impossible to not love. She grows up but is still herself. She was so cute. I originally liked seeing Yi Ting on screen but seeing this girl was even better.
Finishing this I was just thinking how 8th and 4th both lost their love the moment they went after the throne.…
True, I guess I was upset about the sad ending and didn't see that point as clearly. I think its a kdrama thing for the girl to be so stupid at times, I watched a few C dramas and in them the girls are more understanding at times.
To survive Wang So has to be strict, especially in the past, and all he did was use strong justice. If she had trusted him and not interfered then everything would have been different. The princes could have been together and she could have just asked to raise her daughter away. I'm surprised Wang So doesn't blame her more, shows just how much he loved her. I know Hae So loved him but apparently not as much if she didn't trust him.
But I still pitied everyone who was after the throne because they each were trying to survive in their own way and protect their own families.
I m ok with opinion part, it is personal stuff but.... - in history Wang So had family issues - he really had…
I think somewhere along the line they decided to just stretch the show under the disguise that they are adding "twists"and making an "intricate" plot.
Don't get me wrong I did enjoy watching it and joon gi was amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised by IU. the problem was halfway in I lost interest, I wanted to see the princes and everyone but I just couldn't focus on the story. I watched a Chinese drama called princess wei young and I think what they did right was focus on the right scenes (like investigations and evidence)and not delve too much into side characters if you can't do it properly.
And I wanted to say Raincat and Anopinion that it was interesting reading your critiques.
I agree to some extent. But tbh I really really enjoyed it from episode 1 to 13. The last 7 episodes were extremely…
I agree it started out great but then got annoying. I hated the noble idiot syndrome and time lapse . This would have been perfect if they had just 16 episodes instead of diluting the story.
I was actually surprised that IU played the role well, I think the real problem is that the writer didn't take her character to full potential since after all she was from the future.
I am so confused whether I should continue watching or not. I don't want a sad ending I just finished watching…
It is a bitter sweet ending, I would say watch only if you can handle the noble idiot syndrome. I couldn't take it and just read recaps for a couple episodes then watched the last ep.
Finishing this I was just thinking how 8th and 4th both lost their love the moment they went after the throne. When in like ep 16 he said he wanted throne, So basically put being king first and that was the start of losing everyone and really sad next four we where they slowly lost east other.
Now I'm wondering what the point of everything was when Wang So just became like every other king. Why bother having travel to the past when it doesn't help anything.
If they make a season two I hope they get an extra writer bc while the actors and story were great there were too many things rushed, and confusing
Wow she was great in Scarlet Heart, never cared about her before just knew she was pretty. Now she grabbed my attention with her acting and now listening to her songs, they are actually kinda nice, not my usual but I have found some I like
I still didnt watch the last episode but i have mixed feeling about this drama. He did everything to save his…
I wish the daughter had more time too. Also that that other lawyer lady (lol cant even remember her name) played more of a role, like what was her purpose? File papers? deliver clothes?
But overall it was great.
LMAO XDDD he wasnt even looking at the road for minutes and you call this tragic?. . . gee please
lol ya that was weird but I'm just thinking that it was in slow motion, originally I was worried the accident was not an accident because it was so odd.
I really liked the couple's personalities. A mature male lead who can think for himself and a girl who is understanding and not jumping to the worst conclusion all the time. Usually I might love the fiery couple that argues a lot, but this was just refreshing, since the two are so supportive of each other. I also liked Ya Ti since not every second lead needs to be crazy.
Its not easy to keep up with airing dramas, especially when there is a good season with plenty of good new shows. I try to keep up with one or two airing dramas but marathon the rest. Strong woman and Defendant I was watching but guess I'll need to find another one since Defendant is ending.
Haven't seen Hyun Woo in a drama since Moorim School:D
I feel like he can do really well in this role ,be the sulky type as in Moorim School and Ive seen him do the happy over-excited type too which might be needed since it is a manga adaptation.
We should remind ourselves that this drama is a remake of the manga, not the movie, and because this is a youthful…
I hope we see the sweeter side, bc i remember watching the movie and feeling that something was missing. It was sweet but dry.
I only read part of the manga since I kinda just stopped reading them but I hope this won't be too much manga style like the over exaggerated trend, but still follow the general thing and I feel Hyun Woo can do that (based on Moorim school, iljimae, and to the beautiful you).
I hope they keep the character and plot but make it more real, so I'm glad this is a kdrama not Jdrama.
What I am most worried about is how they are going to end it. Since you read the manga, do you think this will be okay for someone who doesn't like bittersweet ends.

Reason 1 and 2 were it for me.
But overall it was great.
I really love Leeteuk and Eunhyuk image
....just so long as the writers don't mess up
