There was that viral video where the man's two kids come in and then everyone started debating if the lady that took them out was the nanny or wife. I was just thinking isn't it better to give people the benefit of the doubt and support them with best wishes. Instead of being critical why not make excuses on why its better that way (unless of course there is a reason given why not to)
I wanted to watch this. But then I read about the memory loss in the main description. So, no, but no thanks.…
I think I was in the mood for well done cliches lol and that kid was just too cute. Why don't they call the cops... well you do know that most rapes go unreported right, even in modern countries so especially in small Asian towns I think people would hide the fact because usually victim is blamed and life gets difficult. Plus in some places the cops are corrupted like in India for ex, bribes are like normal.
Wondering if I should start this.. I'm sick of the amnesia bs
I normally hate amnesia but this made me think, this is how amnesia should be done. This is kinda long so I'd say watch it only if you like the actors because even though I loved it I won't defend the annoying cliches it had ( I guess i was in the mood then for cliches )
I liked this one but i have a feeling it was more to do with lead couple than story ...too long ago so can't remember exactly. I just remember being annoyed at lack of trust. So anyone who wants to watch this make sure you like the actors or else don't bother. Autumn concerto on the other hand will probably always win because how genuinely the two cared for each other before they had their son.
The villain type was getting annoying, love how we have a variety now days. Watching SWBDS and her mom is hilarious right now, a little too much but it works out since daughter isn't like that so most likely CEO won't misunderstand. (pls don't CEO)
My favorite is probably Angry Mom, she was just amazing.
He is so awesome! I first saw him in Sirius and now he is awesome in Strong Woman. Sometimes when he acts I feel like he looks a bit like Ji sung,...maybe something about this eyes...... anyone else think so?
Your review was spot on. I have to agree I thought Secret was good but this was just epic, and you are right it was because of the character portrayals. Jee wasn't a weak insecure girl but confident. Jee was just refreshing and real. Satit may have gone a bit extra on his revenge thing but his subtle expressions always make me think he isn't that bad and still support him and Jee. The side characters were also really great. Writers of other stories need to realize that its okay to have more nice characters, not everyone needs a hidden agenda.
At the end of a drama I normally think they could have done this or that but for this one I end up defending the plot and characters thinking of reasons it was better this way or what the character made sense. Jee and Satit were so amazing that I could empathize with them.
Hope to see Lakorns be more like this one in the future. Ones that are dramatic, interesting, have real characters, but not over the top insane and abusive.
I also totally agree :) although I would voted for Signal than W but I know this poll is for most popular votes…
I would choose signal always since I totally appreciate how well done it is and it was just perfect. But I have to admit I enjoy watching some of the lighter rom-coms more since I tend to watch dramas to relieve stress. I think its a bit of both popularity and people just liking the simple stuff.
When will he get the male lead??!!! I will die waiting!
Honestly, I think its good he hasn't yet (though it might be time soon now) because I can see him turning into an actor-actor and not an idol-actor, since I think he keeps getting better.
Is anyone else insanely annoyed by the female lead..?
Well we have plenty of the overly nice female leads in other dramas, so I think its okay she isn't bending backwards to help people (she does help occasionally though).
Just a thought but...When a rich ceo is mean and then turns nice it's okay and he is great, but when the girl does it isn't?
This movie is so cliche yet it made me cry so much T-T (Not because of the thought that the guy getting a surgery…
Lol thanks for the spoilers. Sad endings are okay but I prefer happy so good to know he didn't die. Plus the guy liking her first is like the cherry on top. Thanks ^_^ I'll watch it soon.
Oops, I'm becoming a lakorn fan. Should I laugh or cry? Plus it's going to be hard finding something as good as this since it was just perfect . Sure I would have liked stepfather to suffer more and the satit to regret more but thinking about it again it was better this way. And the leads were great together.
What made this work so well for me is that when Sathit is cruel it seems like he is hurting by hurting her, plus is always there ready to go back to help her, which kinda made me think he is a good person and hasn't lost himself in revenge. Plus I love jee, we need girls like her, strong and smart. She knows when she is wrong and also when to stand up for her self.
I have seen Two Weeks and I Hear Your Voice, and those shows were amazing to me imo, how good is Defendant compare…
I felt it had the same vibe as two weeks, with the whole dark action. A little different is Defendent side characters play a bit more of a role and the amnesia difficulty makes plot slow down . It's not like I hear your voice , there's no main romance thing and the scenes in court aren't that long ( maybe will be in last few ep, don't know yet). I would definitely recommend this drama!
Sad to see her gone :(
My favorite is probably Angry Mom, she was just amazing.
