Title The Shipper Spoiler
I like Pam with Khet, they are really cute together. But a whole series to throw the queer guy to the "if we love each other, each one will have to live their own paths" cliche and his last scene is he crying remembering his beloved one who died?

COM'ON!!!!!!

They are choosing to present this series to the world in a very bizarre way, it seems to me. First, the actors…
Oh, and Gaya Sa Pelikula director wanted only openly lgbt actors, but he recieved a lot of e mails from closeted gays saying that acepting the role would mean to come out and that's not an easy thing to do in the Phillipines.

Yes, Alex Diaz is out and proud now, but he is cause he was exposed. Like many other countries, professional actors'd rather hide their sexualities till later on just to avoid type casting. So it may take a while till we seen the marjority of these roles played by gay people.

I think we can't blame the Phillipines for this, cause they already have more openly lgbt actors doing bl this year then thailand last year hahaha (one actress from Pearl Next Door, Alex Diaz from Oh mando and one from Gaya Sa Pelikula). Maybe it's a production problem, they weren't instructed well. I don't know if the producer or the scriptwriter of this are gay, but I know that Gameboy's and Hello Stranger's creators are.

If you've been around thai bl since it's beginings, it was like this back then too. We don't need to go too way back then, till LBC it was very common this kind of speech among BL actors. I believe the response to this was soooo agressive (I've seen A LOT of accounts bashing Aki) cause BL in the philipines isnt a straight girls thing. A large part of the watchers are gay men and I believe they have the right to feel offended.

However, as much as I hate when people try to separate BL completely from LGBT (they undeniably overlap), I have to acept that this lame definition (BL is not necessarily gay, but two man falling in love) is correct on the market's origins. It has evolved, so it shouldn't be said as if it was the only truth (and this was on Aki's apology).

I'll whatch this cause I liked its production values, but yeah, not much interest on following them. But so far Pinoy BL has been much more LGBTish then Thai BL, we can't take this series as an exemple.

Title 2gether
I don't see it as white privilege actually, more like he got the part because he's "HOT"... he needs to learn…
Most BL actors who have girlfriends only start to hide them when the series starts to air. There are SOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY cases like this, it's not Bright's exclusivity. Zee, Gulf, Bright, New and the list goes on.

This whole "GMMTV is trying to make him the next Mario" is so no sense. GMMTV thought this would be a huge flop just like My Tee (and maybe if it wasn't cause of the pandemic/quarentine it might have been...). The company has a standart for all the actors they put on BLs: 2-3 years promoting as a couple/doing series together, then they move on to other kind of roles. That's probably what will happen to them, but we'll have to waint and see which one will stick to lgbt shows (since the company rarely do another bl show with other ship, but they do cast them on other gay couples on non bl shows) and who will move to straight roles only. By the interviews it doesn't seems that it will be Bright.

He always talked about how he regreted his teens and apologized, much before people talked about this. Don't talk as if he's been unapologetic about this. He has been so much more consistent about how he percieves gay roles, about gay rights and so on then much bl actors out there that till this gay mock on this kind of job. He has such a beautiful relationship with his uncle too. He have done bad stuff 7 years ago, but he has shown how he changed.

not gonna happen. GMMTV made it clear they want Bright to have a non-BL acting career with the way they made 2gether…
He's very close to his uncle, he helped his mother to raise him. Thai netziens didn't pick up on him because of what his gang did while in high school cause he has already talked about how he regrets the behaviour he had when young and said/showed how he improved as a person.

They were pissed cause he talked about the concert incident in positve way.

If you whatched the variety shows he did with Foei, First and others you'll see how reserved he is. All crew says how he is a lonely isolated person. The awkwardness he had on some scenes and fan services aren't cause he is with a dude, but cause he's a very reserved person. Actually he (and Win which is even worse than him on this field) has become more and more confortable with this.

GMMTV took legal actions on what people were doing agaisnt him cause he has been a target from chinese politcal trolls since the incident of his now ex girlfriend. Even some questionable stuff he did like following porn pages or smoking were made a HUGE deal by this accounts to spread the image that he's a helpess human being. When someone calls him out for a real deal (such as this concert incident) the company doesn't do anything, the actor himself has to take in account what he did. Just see that GMMTV did nothing to "protect" Krist, New and Singto, cause they weren't target of hate groups, they just did bad stuff. But the company did filled to protect Bright and Gun cause they have been target of these groups for a long, long time (after this emerged some other mesures they did to protect some actresses too).

GMMTV never trageted him specifically to that LOL Stop making up stuff. Bright is one of the few actor who talks well about future gay roles, even explains what he which kind of plots he would want to do with a gay chracther.

If you read the correct translations about his highschool issues, you would know that what people pointed on him specifically was the concert incident (just like 90% of the thread you posted is, cause that was the real issue). He already said sooooo many times how he regrets what he's done when he was young (yeah, 7 years ago) even before being "exposed" (cause he neve hided that he was indeed a problematic person in his teens). Thai netziens called him out cause of the concert incident, cause that was the only thing he hadn't appologized till that moment.

If you followed him for like, 3 seconds, you would realize how calling him homophobic is completely non sense. From all his unscripted talks about gay rights (while all other actors follow a strict rule of what to say about this), to his close relationship with his uncle that is like a father to him.

You can hate him for so many questionable things he did, but picking this up just shows how blind you became to the campain that's been around to destroy his career.

Earn, Air and Pear were in 2gether! They're from the music club too. If I'm not mistaken there was some point on the other season where Tine flirted with Earn or Pear. They'll probably be just supporting cast (maybe one of them might hook up with Gunsmile's characther).

How is it possible GameBoys is still ranked only 8.8 after Ep 10? How?

Who are you and how dare you say such true things. Bravo! While I love Win and do not necessarily agree with you…
Hahahahahaha Bright the worst actor in the industry? Now let’s talk about a biased opinion when there are soooo many mediocre actors doing Thai BL. Gurl, take rest.

Plus: the Sarawat from the novel is a horribly written character, much worse than the series. Fell free to disagree alone. You are blind by your hate against Bright.

Yes! People only pay attention to Thai BL, but IMO they are the most meh ones hahaah
Their whole industry (fan service, fan meetings, etc..) are top notch. But pinoy, japanese and korean BLs are much more well done.

I've heard people talk about the last 2 episodes being disappointing. I did watch the serious and other than the…
They were just awkward. Sarawat was completly out of character, things were a little rushed, Tine became paranoid for no reason, they put a girl villain out of nowhere and the main couple had zero intimacy even after making up (and we're not talking about kisses).

The over the top soap opera drama was a little off too. It was all bad scripting and directing choices. I personaly don't blame the actors as most people do.
