ep 16 subs are terrible :( i hope they won't go downhill from here and this is just a one-off!

yeah i found this too! i came to see whether others were having the same experience :( it's weird as they've been good up to this point!

yeah because of the statute of limitations sadly. i really think for murder and such this kind of law is ridiculous as there should be no time limit for something so terrible! the real killer is in jail for raping/murdering his sister in law but he cannot be legally tried for the other crimes now..

So far I'm liking this a lot more than I expected considering I'm picky when it comes to crime dramas! Dylan Wang and Pan Yue Ming work together really well, I love their dynamic so far haha.

i relate to the leads so damn much omg. all the people who hated on dongman just really didn't understand him tbh. i spent so much time thinking about this drama and how i actually get what kind of person he is and it made me realize how i totally get why he feels the way he does (and in turn lashes out at the people who make him feel that way). it's definitely a coping mechanism for anxiety :( i just hope both he and eun-a can heal each other, bc they sure need it!

i was thinking he might be the imposter butterfly demon since the point from where they imprisoned him and he stole back the body lol

I feel sorry for Ji Ling!! When he discovers he's a puppet, it was saad!! TJR does well at making his characters both feel very different from each other haha.

i think the difference is with GJM's dramas is they take their time to tell the story and that's what part of the experience is, it's kind of a full package deal! the story becomes an emotional journey because it's not told too quickly and that's what i like about it! you really get to know the characters :)

I was struggling to watch because of the immaturity of the guys from the hostel, do they not get less annoying? lol
I thought the women seemed so much more level-headed and mature but I just couldn't deal with the guys shouting and being ridiculous all the time when they look like they're meant to be in their 30s haha

as someone who also doesn't like/watch much horror, how scary is it? lol

mdl is already infested with troll users and ppl rating dramas they haven't even seen, it's a nightmare. hard to really believe the ratings on this site until the drama finishes, it usually levels out by the end

the rating is crazy and doesn't make sense as the first ep was really good! i know it'll probably make sense soon as i get further in but i'm still confused about the "hearing impaired" part as he clearly can hear? (except for that one instance). does it mean something different then actual hearing loss??

ep 12 was incredible!! the part where the courtesan's escaped for their lives! omg i was on the edge of my seat haha.

omg went in expecting nothing but first ep really tugged on my heartstrings! this is gonna be such a journey!

oh god ep 9! how sad! i didn't expect that!!

i'm gonna assume that she worked and lived away from her parents and never introduced them to him despite them being in a relationship.
honestly i don't really ship them tbh, i think the girls friendships and the shenanigans is a lot more fun!!

yeah i'm kind of sad that she's barely had any screentime tbh! i really liked her in other stuff and was hoping she'd have a more prominent role!

just finished ep 16, totally can't help but ship mary and yang chang but i lowkey forgot she had a husband until this point lmaooo

watched the first ep with low expectations because of the rating and absolutely LOVED it. cheng yi slaying once more!!
