A lot of people are writing about how RunYu is evil, but for some reason I really can't see it. All his life he was always looked down upon, isolated, and he had to witness some serious childhood trauma AND right when he found his birth mother he had to watch her die in his arms. He's hurt and alone, and it makes me so upset to see him continuing to hurt himself for JinMi when he knows 100% her heart belongs to XuFeng.

What really broke my heart was when he used the Blood Ball to save JinMi, sacraficing half of his lifespan, ONLY for him to get sadness in return. This really really hurts, and I can't stand to see him only get the bad end of the stick each episode. Yes, I understand he was manipulative in certain scenes, but given his life and how he was manipulated by the Empress, I don't blame him.

He deserves happiness, someone who loves him. I'm only on like episode 50 something, but I really hope that near the end he gets closure, because it's really unfair that he has to be put through all this :(

Thanks! I'll push through, just after his trauma of his recollection of the past, his biological mother's death, and seeing the love of his life in the mortal world with his half brother really makes me sad with him :( so much emotion. I was balling my eyes out all of last night when watching that episode ahaha T_T I've never felt so much sympathy for a character before

Ohh okay that puts me at a bit ease, after all he goes through (at the point I’m at right now) I think he most deserves a good conclusion

Aww :( I’m at the part where his biological mother just died and my heart is truly hurting for him, does he not get any type of decent conclusion? :( after that whole thing with his past at this point I’m really wanting to see him at least happy T_T

Can someone tell me if Run Yu gets a happy ending or a satisfying ending? :( I’m starting to really love him but he seems to have a tough life and I really want to see him have a good ending at least, I don’t mind spoilers! Please tell me how it ends for him

Judging from your comment, does that mean the show has no romance at all (not even subtle)? :( I haven't started watching it yet but I was sort of hoping for even a bit of romance if anything.

I'm on episode 11 and I can't seem to stand Jin Mi's character... she's just way too air-headed and immature to me. I heard she potentially gets better later on, but how much more mature/less air-headed does she become, and from what episode?

Can someone tell me if Bai Lin gets less annoying? The more I'm watching this show the more I can't stand her as a person. She's so childish and it annoys me how she can get away with so much stuff, and when she is called out for the shit she does she'll make some BS excuse to justify her childish and bad actions. This is why I love Xiao Tang way more as a person, because she's blunt and will easily call out a person's bullshit.

The Run Yun (Night Deity) get a happy ending, like does he get someone in the end? He's growing onto me in the beginning of the series but the opening hints that it's going to be some love triangle :(

Would someone be able to answer the following for me?
1. Is there a happy ending? I don't mind tragedy but I hate having to finish a drama with sadness because the ending was depressing.
2. Is there romance? If there is who are the pairings in this drama? Does any pairing get a happy ending?

Does anyone have any recommendations for good dramas similar to this? (with a good enough of a plot that keeps your eyes opened the whole time wanting more, as well as a side of romance, I love romance!)

So I began watching this show because I absolutely LOVED Love o2o, and apparently this show's story was made by the same author who wrote Love o2o. However, as I began watching this show, I grew to really dislike the main Female character. So my main question is, does she ever get more mature? I find her to be a little /too/ childish at times, and it really irks me.
