I agree. It is meant to make us laugh, and I do laugh often. I cried buckets watching One and Only and this drama is what I need now.

I guess they wanted her to do a comedy drama and she accepted. As comedy drama, it does not disappoint, but would we like to see her in different role other than being funny and naive, my answer is yes. She did well in the long ballad, I think she can do different role, she just has to find the right opportunity. I'll continue watching this series, it is fun.

It is correct that he was referring to March of the same year, not the year before, at least we both got this right. And yes, the timeline is a bit messed up since they got married on May 11 and she is already 3 month pregnant, this cannot be, since she was still in coma in March.

That's what I thought too in the beginning, I mean the talk about the rain in March, but then I came to realize that the March referred to was actually when they first met in X'an, otherwise the duration of the coma would be just too long, starting from the mid autumn festival which occurs by September upto March and beyond.

I finished watching the series yesterday, I wish it would never last and there were new episodes every day. The story is do beautifully written and the cast is absolutely top notch, Allen Ren made me cry buckets seeing how totally committed, devoted he is to Si Yi when she was in coma in the hospital. He just sat outside the room to be with her, though separated by a wall, heedless of his own injuries. He did that night after night until his parents in law finally let him see her. His acting is simply perfect, he is SZC, the nerdy professor who has discovered unconditional love with SI, the husband who would never leave his wife. I don't think I have ever adored an actor this much until now. I am now too spoiled to watch another drama, my mind keeps going back to Forever and Ever, to Allen Ren and Bai Liu.

I think the love and devotion of SCZ, a nerdy professor, played by Allen Ren for ZI (Bai Liu) is abundantly and successfully delivered to the audience throughout the drama despite of the lack of kissing, steaming scenes between the two of them. Why attack him on his personal choice of not kissing his female leads on scene? Are we here to just watch Allen Ren kissing, or to see his acting as a whole? He is perfect in this drama, not many actors can own the character as he does, and if he has anything to do with the design of the nerdy professor in the script, then he has certainly nailed it, and Bai Liu's performance meets up with his perfectly.

And he certainly deserves all the credit for it, he played the part of a nerdy professor who falls in love in the way he knows perfectly on point. Some viewers complain about lack of kissing, steamy scenes, but I have seldom seen so much love, sweetness and devotion displayed between this couple here, Allen is brilliant in his performance and Bai Liu is just right. I simply adore them here, they really make up for all the tears I shed in One and Only for them.

ha ha, true, but I think it is a case of being a "nerd", not being shy. He is just a bit disconnected, hence slow.

How can we possibly wait till next Monday???? Allen Ren and Bai Liu are simply awesome here as they were in One and Only, different period, different world, yet they are just in syn with each other here. When I first started watching Forever and Ever, I kinda thought that the Zhou Sheng Chen in this life should be more manly therefore less "green", untouched in human relationship as is script written here , but then I realize this is exactly where Shi Yi of today comes in to show us how she sees through him straight into his beautiful bones, he is as protective, as loving as any man who truly and single-mindedly loves his woman, he is giving her all that he is, he has, with no reserves in this life. Someone wrote saying China does not encourage reincarnation story tellings, if this is the case, I'd give much credit to the writer, the producer, for giving us an apparently separated yet infinitely connected narrative. I shall watch One and Only and Forever and Ever again and again in the months to come.

Bai Lu is so natural in her acting, I have become her fan for some time now. Who is LYX, by the way?
