the trailer of Ep 27 shows the crown prince tells the dowager that Wei Rao is a fraud impersonating a noble, that is a lie..Besides shouldn't it be all over in the palace that she is the real Wei Rao who almost got killed when she was only a infant? What is wrong with the crown prince and everyone else insisting on such a blatant ridiculous lie ? Better still, why the scriptwriter thinks he can pass this on the viewers?

This Xie woman is outrageous, she doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't want, but Wei Rao needs to give up Lu Zhou so she can marry him, no one tells her no????

Ep 24, I actually thought they would show grand wedding scenes for the leads, but it was just a ride in red on the street! What is wrong with the editing? I am sure they have cut already shoot wedding scenes .. 😡

Yes I saw the schedule on Netflix, honestly do they really think viewers will stick to this daily schedule after the express is released? lol. Netflix would do better business if they'd air in sync with the express or at least within the next 48 hrs.

me too, have been saving the last couple of episodes so that I can binge .. it looks that ep.23 is a turning point, don't know if Icsn still hold off at least till ep 24 comes out tomorrow. This one ep. a day is really a loose-loose operation from Youku, it falls behind viewerhip in competition with other dramas currently on air and also makes viewers angry, like myself and many others.

Funny I also thought of IQiyi airing mode, indeed it is steady and no surprise. I also watch on Netflix too for this drama and find it hard to wait for the finale a week or so from now. However I do find Youku has exaggerated this time, this one episode a day in the span of 2 weeks or so is outrageous and am not going to succumb paying extra. I have a Unblock Technology box, hopefully they will upload episodes in due course.

one episode a day and none for 3 consecutive days mid next week is the worse airing schedule of all times. Youku has lost my subscription forever. Ah, almost forgot, instead of making money in selling express package of the last remaining episodes, they are now selling package of BTS, just another way to squeeze money.

Indeed, no specific explanations were given, it is in fact a weak point of the drama, things happen and viewers need to assume what went on behind the scenes. This is the one weak point of this drama.

I have read that this is his first main role in a drama, am sure he will show improvement if given the chance, he has the build, the look, and time is on his side, now that he has tasted success, he will certainly want to move forward, learning, experiencing. As for the shooting of scenes, think like all productions, shootings do not follow the sequence of the drama but the convenienc and practicality of the settings at the time, so improving as the drama moves should not be the case. I'd rather think it is the directing, the character and his own acting skills. This having said, he does show potentials, I am sure he will gain substantial grounds in the entertainment industry if he is willing to commit.
