lament of autumn has 40 episodes while this drama has 30. It tells how Youku has been dangling the carrot in front of our noise for the longest time.

Youku is being really mean, still one episode (ep.22) for tomorrow October 29. My best guess is ep 23,24 on Friday, ep 25,26 on Saturday, then remaining 4 episodes on Sunday under express package.. This one episode per day has gone far too long. It really wants me to quit subscription.

ep 21 is certainly not a filler episode.

oh We have the most suited actor for this role!! His looks are insane, and his eyes! All.hr needs is more learning experience under appropriate guidance. Hope his thirst for success will make him want to learn.

No idea, and the classification was higher too .. what is causing the drop?

the story has potentials but the script is slow in delivering, there are so many unnecessary scenes,hence difficult to keep viewers glued to the couch. Ep. 8 seemed to have taken a turn for the better but it slowed down again, the pacing really needs to pick up.

probably it is the script, I find the pacing really slow, am having a hard time to stay concentrated up to now.

am holding off till they get back together, hopefully, soon very soon...

am only on ep.2, so not in the position to make any specific comments, but the start does give me a good vibe, the storyline seems to be refreshing, and the main leads are indeed delivering, their mannerisms, their ownership of their respective roles are so convincing. Fingers crossed, this is a drama to be enjoyed to the very end.

Ep.16 brings the end of the doppelganger arc but shows sign of the imminent divorce between the leads which to me is illogical. How can Wei Rao not feel the love her husband has for her and not see what he has done to help her, to save her. This water filler arc only keeps me away from this drama until it is finally gone. I'd actually prefer to see more of the doppelganger arc in place of this illogical divorce arc to fill up episodes.

great drama, refreshing storyline and it is not limited to struggles within families but extending to power fights in palace, common people sufferings, totally loving all.

I love strong female lead stories, and I love Tian Xi Wei, but I think the background of Ah Chou should have bene better written to justify her behaviour, both in words and acts, in her witty battles in the Lu family, a poor girl with no education and did only labour work since little can no way be as knowledgeable as she is, even though she managed to pick up learnings here and there while growing up in poverty. This is the one element I find little credibility in the script. Other than this, this drama is awesome, the choice of cast is excellent, all characters shine, young and old, Tian Zi Wei shines in her double roles, she totally owns them, as for the male lead, it is my first watching him act, he has good poise, the dubbing is a bit stiff, his acting is perfunctory, as many actors and actresses are, not everyone is talented and owns whatever role he or she plays in the get go. All in all, I am totally enjoying this drama, a refreshing story delivered by a very convincing cast and director.

The real Wei Rao is truly rotten inside out, should the drama end with her changing into someone with conscious then it would be a real joke, taking viewers as fools...

Tian Ci Wei really owns whatever roles she plays!!

wait a minute，just spotted the male lead has 2 different names in the cast listing here, does he play double roles too as the female lead???

haven't started watching yet, as I want to do it when the drama really gets into the thick of things, a few glance of previews show that it won't be long.. from the little I see in trailers, the female lead Is delivering great performance!

Agree, I felt something was off but couldn't wrap my head around it, bingo, it is the dubbing!
