No prediction. Knowing about the library was from his assistant (dressed as a woman) who got the information from…
that has bern cleared, his assistant disguised as woman found out from the FL where her mistress was, this wasn't in fact a prediction. The prediction is that they would end up literally in bed. This to me, is a bit too far catch. As someone says, screenplay can be sketchy at times.
Maybe he thought it was that man dressed as a woman. 🤷🏼♀️ Cause the she man did ask for the direction…
that man is his right hand man who disguised as woman to infiltrate the residence..Now that you mentioned him, he did ask the female lead if she knew where her mistress was, this means he would have told the male lead where he could find the couple. This however doesn't clear the fact that the male lead could foresee the couple would meet and do what they did, be it in the library or not.
ep.8 , don't get me wrong, I can't wait for the next episodes to air as I love the fast pacing, the tension being built, and the strong start in episode 1 has me hooked to the story, to the cast, the directing and the acting. This having said I do find the fact that the male lead actually predicted his wife and her cousin would be in the library and get caught red handed a bit too far catch.
what is happening with the airing schedule? I am still stuck with ep 6 paid with express. How about ep 7 and 8 scheduled to air today? It is 1.30 pm in Europe and they are not available on the WeTV app!!
OMG, I am speechless, what a powerful start of the story, the characters, the dialogues, the costumes, the settings and the 📽️ came together to deliver an unforgettable start. I am glued to the couch crying like a baby.
I have just watched ep 24 for the third time, I swear that I have neither seen or heard anything about him explaining to her that he gave top evaluation of her performance but was told that the receipent of the company award to expert had to be the other girl. this must have taken place in some other episode. yes, the time line is really messed up and several scenes too. At one point they were taking the dog for a medical emergency, then the scene that followed was Flora having a beer with Lumi in her city and Luminwas asking her if she was going to give Luke another chance, she didn't answer but finished up her beer, scene changed and Flora and Luke came back home and Luke was saying in 2 days time the dog would be ok to come home. This is a total mess up of the sequence, thanks to the cut of episodes.
guys, anyone remembers in which episode di Luke tell Flora he actually evaluated her performance top, but was told that the Board had made the decision to assign the Expert qualification to the other girl regardless of the evaluations.
I watched the last few episodes in one go, eager to see the separation arc, the reformed path Luke took to win Flora back. However I finished watching till the end unsatisfied, the sequencing from epsidoes 22 to 24 is very jumpy, the cut of 32=episodes to 24 has impacted significantly the final and crucial stage of the entire drama, as the sequence of scenes jump back and forth, the editing fails to keep a steady and progressive process. we lost track of time, no idea when the business crises of Flora started, and Luke seems to have stayed in her city for months to work as an all-round assistant yet he is not. In the meantime Lumi Is back again in her city asking stuff about Luke that took place a long time ago as if time hadn't gone by between Luke and Flora. The editor could have, should have done a much better job, better still, the production should have thought twice prior to taking out a huge chunk of content.
they shouldn't have reduced the drama from 32 episodes to 24, I am sure the separation arc would have been so much more satisfactory to the viewers and yes to those who made it. Now, with the cut, I left the drama feeling hollow despite a happy ending.
am here watching this drama for the first time because of the FL who is on air now in The early spring. I am not very fond of the 70s to 90s based dramas, but have decided to step in to give It a try because of her . The ml is an excellent actor... fingers crossed to love the storyline.
The Luke we see in ep. 19 can no way drive Flora away, he is what she would like him to be. Their families now know of them because both Luke and Flora want their relationship out in the open, this should be so in the office too as part of the natural process. Their behaviour with each other should in no way be leading to a breakup. The screenplay had better be really convincing to break them up now, otherwise it would be just one of the many calssic trope we see so often in the cdramaland.
Ok, so the trope of not saying what should be said to clarify is tiring. I guess expecting a totally new approach in storytellings remains wishful thinking in cdramaland, despite the fact that this drama truly gave me hope since it has such a promising start and delivered by a formidable cast, especially the leads. Am putting the watch on hold now till the final episode airs so to give my "boiling blood" a rest.
