It must have been cut. I distinctly saw it as preview in YouTube. That scene was brief but great to Watch, the male lead in red robe was kneeling in the palace court in front of the new emperor asking for a decree of marriagr as prize for saving the then crown prince.

rewatched ep.25, no, the scene of the male lead kneeling in the palace asking for a decree of marriage to that fl as prize for saving the crown prince who then became the new emperor isn't anywhere in ep. 25. It shouldn't be in ep.26 neither as it happened before thr announcement of the decree in both families. So yes, that scene I saw as preview on YouTube is cut off

indeed, I feel so lost now the thr drama is over. In the final scene, I had hoped that in the pouch she held in her hands there would be also thr red thread the male lead had gone to the temple for and tied it between them , but nothing. She didn't want to see him again in her next life. I feel so so sad for him, he had tried to redeem himself so hard in the latter part of his life..

There was a preview on YouTube that showed the male lead asking for a decree for marrying the female lead in the palace court from the newly appointed king, who he helped to escape from the banquet of the marquis 's wedding so that the new king (then the prince) could come back in time to see the emperor in his death bed. This scene seems to be cut in the drama, as I don't remember seeing it. It should be somewhere between episode 25 and 26, I presume.
Anyone has seen it? Is it really cut?

the second sister is engaged to the man who was married then widowed, by choice of his family, to the sister of the ex wife of the male lead. she was raped and killed when both of them were escaping from the riots.

indeed. The success of a drama needs all these ingredients and in this specific order: script, cast, director, production and editing. This drama has all. So so good.

finished watching all the episodes, I must say that this drama has the best screenplay , delivered by a formidable cast, directed , produced and edited by true professionals. It has been a great pleasur to follow this piece of art, to me it will remain among the top if not the top for a long time.

just came back here to say that this is a really good drama delivered by a good cast, especially the male lead.He owns the role, he doesn't play the role. The story is relatable. To anyone looking for a modern drama that touches your heart, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

this drama shows and tells how a business sector works, functions and how It reflects on those who work, it may not be a everyone's cup of tea but truly different from many modern business dramas and isdelivered by a well prepared cast making the whole story credible, relatable. Also, I am glad it is on Netflix as well, this platform runs ever so smoothly, no buffering, easiest to ff and bw, I can replay to catch words missed or misunderstood in the split of a second of content of this drama unfamiliar to me.
