I love a good relatable story and this is one of those. A great cast that delivers a good refreshing story, just wish they didn't dub the female lead's voice, she has a unique twang voice that is befitting to roles she has played so far (the rise of Ning is a great example). it is high time the male lead plays a center role, he is a great actor.

I like the original voice of the female lead, but She is dubbed here!

So many characters, sects in this drama plus events keep coming up that I fail to understand all that is going on, I presume it is the main difficulty of adapting novels into a series. If Allen Ren were the main lead, I'd have dropped it, as the adaptation aside, I find the female lead's acting perfunctory, there is no personality in her, how I wish It were Lareina Song on her Place parking up with Allen Ren as in The demon hunter.

I like the ml a lot, but the female lead really drives me off.n

this is an extremely good drama, rich in content and delivered by a great cast especially the male lead, he is just the perfect choice.As for the female lead, I have always found her acting perfunctory, she is less expressive than many other actresses of the he same category, but all in all, I am totally enjoying a rewatch after nearly two years, especially when there is no other drama of this kind in the moment.

rhe major fault lies with the screenplay. A big thank you to the cast for "putting up" with the screenwriter. I do hope to see them in the nearest future in a more satisfying drama for both them and the audience.

the most nonsensical, deliberate tear dragging ending screenplay ever in the history of cdramas. I am just feeling unfair and sorry for the cast that they had to deliver such a drama and with an ending that would probably affect their standings in the entertainment industry in the short term.

I have just started watching this drama for what, the third or fourth time .. there have been so few dramas that keep me going back in the recent years and this is one of them, I do it when there is nothing new worth watching in the moment, not Rebirth, not Love beyond the grave. It is totally a question of personal taste, I just prefer a good, steady flowing storyline, delivered by a good cast and, if the leads are especially good, as in this drama, then it is a treat that I always want to come back to .

the screenplay writer has really truly ruined the drama, multiple events, happenings are all over the place, characterizations of the leads have turned them from strong, intelligent people into mediocre. I can't help but think what passed in the mind of the cast while they were being directed to deliver such a weak and confising screenplay. Bad dramas always impact negatively on the main cast, it is a shame.

have come back to watch this drama again, loving it, it has a great story, good directing and a very substantial cast. the leads and the side characters are excellent choice.

I'd say it is more a matter of lovesick fantasies :)

Princess Agents and now Rebirth are not Idol drama, but from various comments I read here and comments in many other cdramas, too, there are viewers who are fixated on seeing love talks and scenes of the leads, the story, production, directing are are only complementary.
