do you need to have an active subscription to see the reserve button? i'm not seeing the button though i see the…
I think you need to create an account with the platform if I’m not mistaken. Not sure about Youku but that’s how it is for WeTV. So I guess you do need subscription. But I won’t recommend paying until the drama is airing. So far there’s still no news 😢

You need to do more than a hundred series, Heyu. You are SO BEAUTIFUL.
I hope he gets better projects at some point. Cause the majority of scripts he’s getting don’t let him showcase his full potential.

One of those dramas that supporting casts more handsome than ml 😅 but I like it not a boring one. I finished…
…. I watched all the episodes so far but I don’t agree that the supporting casts are better looking than the ML lol. He has his own charms and charisma, maybe you just don’t get it yet.

After watching the 7th ep, my thoughts -I hope it gets better, really. So far, I'm still not invested in the story.…
What do you mean the ML is just there lol… he’s doing a lot so far. Are we even watching the same show? It was pretty clear from episode 1 that he tries to find out who is the person behind his poisoning. And he always wants to get rid of the corrupted officials at the court while secretly adding ppl who are trustworthy.

He appears near the FL all the time is a deliberate effort as their goals are always in line. But he and his ppl always keep an eye on everyone around them cause that’s what ppl who are involved in political struggles do all the time.

Supporting characters are good and some have very interesting story line but I don’t think it’s to the point that they overshadow the leads. Both He Yu and Meng Zi Yi are doing a great job portraying their characters.

One thing I do agree is that the writing could be better. The original novel is super long so it’s kinda normal they’re rushing. But that’s on the script writer not the actors.

Based on the vibes I get so far, Jeremy Xu's character is shaping out to be delightfully dark and potentially…
Should I remind you that Prince Lie tried to force kiss her… without her permission, threatened her, physically grabbed her and did a whole bunch of red flag things just to get her attention? At least Xiao hua Yong never truly did anything to harm her. He and his subordinate keep an eye on everyone, not just FL. But in general, he supports her respectfully, and knows his boundaries.

I might end up dropping this one. It’s not that I don’t like it, but there’s just too much to watch right…
Out of these 3 dramas, I dropped Love for You. The relationship between Ml and FL is so weird. They fall for each other while still living as siblings. And the overall plot is boring 🥱 watched up to 11 episodes, I gave it enough time to convince me to keep watching. But nope, not feeling it.

RTS, the side characters (some of the boys) are more interesting than the main leads’ relationship tbh.

The lead characters, esp ML’s set up in Blossoms of power is kinda refreshing. The supporting cast is also great. There’s not too many green tea MLs like him. So i will keep watching this one.

I can’t unseen it but that scene when he was under disguised wearing the mustache. His mouth looks like a chicken…
That’s just one styling that appeared for only a couple of minutes in one episode. He looks great overall in this drama. If you don’t like him or the drama it’s ok to move on. But What you said is kinda mean, not very funny.

Xiao Huayong is the slipperiest snake I've seen in a long time...
Kinda refreshing honestly. I don’t see much ML with this kind of personality.

I doubt it is even doing well in china.
They hit 26,618 Heat index today and 9.87M on Yunhe views when they just aired 1-2 days ago. They might even reach 27k tomorrow. They’re not doing too bad on other charts as well. Especially considering how Tencent stop collaborating with Dou Yin right before this drama premieres, so they lost a big platform for promotion.

So after giving us all these teasers with his gorgeous real voice, Tencent decided to dub Jeremy Xu.What an utter…
I think they dubbed everyone, or at least the majority of the cast here. It happens a lot these days.

Is he from a boy band? He looks like a kpop star and perhaps modern dramas suit him better. I just dont get much…
No he’s an actor from debut. He’s actually well suited for both modern and historical dramas. He performed well in his recent modern drama Speed and Love. The first work that introduced him to a larger audience is actually a historical drama in 2024, called Dashing Youth. His acting here might reflect director’s choice, cause the set up of his character is a green tea prince who has multiple facade. Always trying hide his real personality and strengths. But there’s actually a lot of subtle expression changes. His eyes also convey a lot of emotions.

The female lead is a good choice for the role, she has the soft and gentle on the surface look but stone hard…
He Yu is an actor since debut, tho he’s not from professional acting background. But I actually disagree with the part about him being unexpressive. Cause it might be a choice from the director. I’ve see him in other shows where his acting is very expressive. His character Xiao Hua Yong is literally always trying to hide sth and has to put up a facade in front of others. His goal is to downplay himself so that other princes don’t see him as a threat. I do see a lot of subtle expression changes and his eyes convey a lot of emotions, especially when looking at the FL. This is very different from his acting in Legend of ShenLi, where he’s a pure comedic character. His execution and expressions there were different, sometimes purposely exaggerated.

He is the most unsupervised Crown Prince I have ever since like no one suspects him,Bro is everywhere, spying…
Cause everyone thinks he’s short lived, weak and useless. A pure crown prince in name only. They established since ep 1 that he has no real power or support compared to other princes.

Well Heyu has chemistry with everyone. I thought I'll never move from SAL. But here he's slaying
If you have watched enough of his dramas, you might realize that he has chemistry with all his past female coworkers, even guys too like in Dashing Youth. That’s why I always observe his progress in acting and performance mostly, cause I never had to worry about the lack of chemistry. He doesn’t need to purposely sell the cp either. It comes naturally when he’s in character.

Person He Yu
I’m loving his new character Xiao Hua Yong. He Yu is doing a great job portraying him so far. Really appreciate the duality, subtle expression changes. His styling is looking really nice as well.

Does the Crown Prince have any other purpose besides investigating the one who poisoned him? He seems to be hiding…
I believe in one of the episodes, when he was in the prison talking to a condemned prince, he said he wanted to clean corruption in the court, protect the citizens or sth. Seems like there’s a bigger scheme behind his poisoning. And things might be connected.

Absolutely loving the chemistry between the crown prince and his body guard. They are so cute and funny together. He Yu as the crown prince is so charming. The subtle changes in his facial expressions and eye acting seem to convey a lot emotions at the same time. Poor tian yuan has to put up with his dawnbadism for FL 🤣 seriously had a good laugh.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the comedic side of the second trailer? 😂 the first one set a mystery serious tone to the overall plot. But i also enjoyed the tough FL-clingy ML dynamic in the second one. I don’t get why someone in the comment section is calling this garbage already based on one trailer.

BOP has both comedy and serious plot that involves political and power fights. We might even get some pretty awesome action scenes too. One thing by for sure is that both FL and Ml are strong characters. Let’s not jump to the gun and start judging before it airs.

Worst case, if you decide that it’s really not your cup of tea. Pls just kindly move on. No need to insult the drama or the actors and ruin the fun for those who might like it. Some of us have been waiting for over a year to watch this.

does it looks like that we might get reborn of the rightful this year ??🤔🤔🤔
Chances are next year. This drama wrapped up not too long ago. Period dramas tend to take longer than modern ones to come out due to editing, potential dubbing and passing censorship review. But we never know.
