You really don't know much about C entertainment lol or how some Chinese fans can behave... He Yu's fans or agency never forced him to break up. His fans don't care because he's an actor from debut. His agency never addressed this even back then. Just people spreading false rumors. Sally used to be an idol before turning actress. Her fans are more fierce and sensitive when it comes to dating matters, they pressured her to give an answer. Back in 2023, He Yu was not famous yet, I saw some comments from her fans saying how he's not popular enough and whatnot. There were screenshots on Weibo. Honestly, it doesn't even matter anyways. The fact is they no longer together now. There's honestly no point of keep bringing it up or investigating why they broke up. This is nobody's business to be frankly speaking. It's highly possible that they are being targeted.

Guys I saw a post today https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTaHetiCSN4/?igsh=MWV5Z3U2YTl5dGVxcw== Is this even true…
This is old news... they broke up since 2024. The girl's fans pressured her to break up with him back then and she did. This is being talked again most likely because both of them are rising artists, He Yu is getting more famous and Sally is rumored to be starting in a new project as FL, competing for the role with another actress. It's pretty obvious that someone (probably rivals) is paying for this old news to trend. Or, it could be also CP fans keep asking that paparazzi man if they broke up in the comments section, so he just answered that they're no longer together. C entertainment is toxic. Once you start rising, there's always someone to try bring you down.

I didn't really read the synopsis of Heyu current drama that he's filming until lately. It's a proper Female Centric…
Instead of luck, it's because the original novel of SAL is not a female centric story to begin with whereas Di Mou is. SAL's main plot basically revolves around Jin Zhao. The drama script was changed to strengthen the FL. But in Di Mou, ML only shows up later in the novel. These two are not the same from the core. Jin Zhao's set up is the type of character that He Yu likes, otherwise he wouldn't have fought for it.

yeah , recently Heyu's fan start make noice to deny 2nd collabration, but Esther's fan just focus on YCL now
that's because the CP fans are going overboard with their shipping, which was the final straw for his solo fans. They were mad that He Yu suffered mass cyberbullying due to this drama during the filming because of some lies/ defamations about how he got the role to be paired with a traffic actress when the truth is he was chosen by the scriptwriter to play the ML. He also got blamed for the crew and script changes when he had absolutely no power over those. His company/ agent never owned the script in the first place. The crew also mistreated him during the filming by making him wait whole day after he arrived on set and ready, refusing to accommodate the filming schedule to his other commitments. He worked hard for those fight scenes, but had to restart everything with the crew change. His old wrist injury relapsed cause of this. In short, his solo fans were extremely unhappy for a long time. He Yu was bullying across all social media platforms since October 2024, and his personal accounts were filled with very nasty hate comments and curses. Some wished for him to die in a bike crash. Now the CP fans are flooding his supertopic on Weibo and his comment sections on Instagram posts with his costar, relating everything he does to her. Of course they're pissed lol.

A user goes by the account name, @Valkyra, keeps coming here to spread false rumors about He Yu. Please don't believe anything they say. This person previously lied about He Yu's agent being a man who uses dirty tricks to get him roles with traffic actresses. This is false! His agent is a woman named Liu Ting Ting. On He Yu's weibo, it even clearly indicates that his business contact is Mrs. Liu. This lady has been with He Yu since his debut as an actor. His company didn't even promote him/ his works properly for years. He got his roles either through auditions or he was selected by script writers/ directors, not because of capital backing.

This user also accused him/ his team of manipulating the SAL script when the truth is the scriptwriter herself chose He Yu to be the ML after seeing a Dou Yin (Chinese TikTok) video of him online. His team/company never had anything to do with the crew change/ script change cause they never owned the script in the first place. That filming crew actually mistreated He Yu.

This same user again is back recently to spread more false rumors about his personal life/ past relationship, saying how he's the one who broke up with his ex for resources and she's the only one defended the relationship, but got all the blame. This is not what really happened!

Rumors about them dating first appeared in 2023 because Liu Xie Ning accidentally posted a video of He Yu on her own social media account, and immediately deleted it. Both actors stayed silent, neither confirmed the relationship. But her team soon made a public announcement and posted a picture, claiming they were not in a relationship and that they were just at a gathering with several other friends. Later, paparazzi released more videos of them. Her fans pressured her to break up with He Yu and demanded that she sends a purple heart emoji on Weibo if she was single, and she did (so they broke up back in 2024). None of He Yu's fans, nor his agency, ever forced him to break up. The claim/ rumor about him breaking up with her first for resources is not valid.

Please don't just listen to/ blindly believe one-sided story, especially if it's spread by antis or ppl with biased mindsets. At the time, neither of them were ready to disclose the relationship. Their privacy was severely breached by a paparazzi, instead of blaming either actors, blame that paparazzi for violating celebrities' private life for money. Lastly, whether celebrities date or not it's nobody's business. Please respect their private life and focus on their works only.

Is this his twitter id? He used to date Sally Xu so they might be her friends
Please do not inquire about his personal life. Whether he dated or not, it's nobody's business. Both artists are now single and focusing on their careers, thank you.

Rumors first appeared because Liu Xie Ning accidentally posted a video of him on her social media, and immediately deleted it. Her fans were the ones forcing her to break up. Not his side. None of He Yu's fans, nor his agency, forced him to break up. But ppl spread false rumors about him and he got plenty of scolding and blame, which even affect him till this day... Don't just listen to one side story. At the time, neither of them were ready to make the relationship public, so don't make it sound like she's the only one who defended the relationship cause she never explicitly confirmed it either after drawing the unwanted attention on both of them. Their privacy was breached by that fucking paparazzi, blame that dude if anything.

They just started filming. It will be out probably 2027 because period dramas take more time for production.

They didn't grow up together to be fair, they just live together for a little bit due to something happened to the ML's family. The mother never treated him like a son tbh. But then they separated for many years. No contact until they were adults. So, when they met again, they're basically strangers.

They picked the right guy for this role. Can't imagine anyone else playing him😫
agree, honestly... I was so excited when I first heard he's gonna play this character cause I know he's gonna nail it. His aura and vibe are so unique. I don't see this in any other male actors of suitable age range for this role. And he did not disappoint.

Nearly all k-dramas and c-dramas these past years being like this but the roles reversed. 🫠It's a fresh breeze…
I don't think you understand the depth of his character. It's not that he doesn't want her around, he just genuinely believed that she deserves someone better than him. He loves her deeply, but was responsible enough to think of a bigger picture than the love between 2 people. Afterall, their relationship affect their respective families as well. Besides, going through a traumatic event such as a huge car accident that almost killed you, and then having to deal with chronic pain, and physical limitation will affect the way you think or see things in life. He used to be so healthy and strong, but since the accident, he can't even walk up the stairs without being in pain and getting sick afterwards. He had to relearn how to walk, how to take care of himself, etc. All these experience can change a person drastically.

His self-esteem has a lot to do with his tragic childhood and the environment he lived in. He lost both his biological parents since young, had to live under other people's care, but never received love from the FL's mother and experienced all kinds of hardships growing up VS. the FL who was rich and well-fed all those years, never had to worry about anything other than her studies. He never thought they would meet again because the mother forces him to cut off contact with her since the beginning. He was told he wasn't good enough since childhood. When you have no sense of stability in life and growing up with the idea that you're inferior, it makes you emotionally vulnerable, which can definitely affect your values and world view. This is why he agrees to work with the police to prove his innocence cause he wants to prove that he deserves the FL's love. This kind of mentality doesn't just go away simply because a rich girl starts to chase after you. The FL was brave to chase after him without having to consider too many factors, but he can't. Later on, when the FL's mother finally accepts him and shows him love, and with the FL's constantly telling him that he's worthy of being loved, he finally develops a new understanding of love. He realizes that love isn't about selfless sacrifice, it's about facing challenges bravely together. This is his personal growth and journey to self-salvation.

If he was truly bad to her, he would have hung onto her selfishly and just live off of her wealth or even destroy her relationship with her mother by asking her to stay by his side even if her mother was sick and needed the FL to go back to Canada at the time.

Omg I just found of the mlead is the guy from “ my fated boy he was cute and now he become sooo handsome
yes, he was also from Let's Meet Now and So Funny Youth. If you haven't watch those two, I strongly recommend them. They're short and sweet modern dramas as well, but you'll get to see the range of his acting. He definitely grew up and matured a lot. His vibe back then was still the cute younger brother, but now he can handle big bro/ rough guy roles.

Couple of questions as I am not aware of the Chinese drama industry. 1. Usually does an actor gets a role only…
1, It depends, sometimes they might have a project scheduled right after if they previously signed contracts, or they might not have anything until months or even a year later.
2. No, actors have less strict rules about dating unlike idols. It might just make actors lose some fans temporarily, but it shouldn't affect their whole career unless they got more serious issues going on. Plenty of actors and actresses date, dated or married in the industry still get acting jobs. It's not like dating is a crime or sth.

He somehow gives off the vibe of Kpop idols, but at the same time has a very unique and distinct aura that Kpop…
yes, many netizens are so toxic and like to turn everything into a gender battle these days. I normally never follow any actors, and forget about them after a drama. But if I see sth special in them that keeps triggering my interest, I would become a fan. He Yu is the only one that managed to do that. If the actor does a good job, I'll watch their other works and interviews to learn more about them. His personality is so cute, generous and goofy, has a nice sense of humor. His smile is so contagious and make me happy when looking at him. His MBTI is ENFJ I believe, so he's extroverted. But sometimes, he's quiet with people he's not close with, but he stays polite. He has a strong sense of boundaries in professional settings.

The character of Jin Zhao is actually quite complex and hard to play. If the acting is not right, it's so easy to become "oily" or give off an overly pretentious, trying to be too cool vibe. But He Yu's delivery avoided all those. His execution was so on point. I'm so happy with that because he never played any roles with this kind of personality before, yet he successfully challenged himself and handled it very well. Just like the scriptwriter said, he's the god-chosen Jin Zhao.

Before Jin Zhao, he personally named Ye Ding Zhi as his lifetime role. Now he has two lifetimes roles. I trust that his Xiao Hua Yong will be his third, and he will keep having more later on. I believe in him. I hope he gets to play a soldier role someday, he has huge respect for the military and soldiers. His vibe and physical appearance would fit so well.

I like his looks because I genuinely think he's handsome. I never really associated him with someone else's visuals. But I see that some netizens always compare him to others, and a few times, posts like those on Red Note got the fans of other idols/ actors to attack He Yu.

There's one scene in Dashing Youth that made me an instant fan. On episode 14, when his character Ye Ding Zhi washes his face after practicing martial arts was breath-taking for me. There's also another scene later, when he carries his son one arm and a sword in his other hand. The way he walks through the forest was so charismatic. There were lots of fan edits about some of his most classic moments in the drama.

C nets have their own standards and preferences in male actors' visuals. They can be quite harsh on those who do not fit the norm. But I happen to like what is unique and distinctive. There's something about He Yu that makes him really appealing as an actor. It's more than just looks. I'm taking about his whole vibe and aura as a person. He's super versatile, casually able to switch between very manly/ ruffian energy to cute school boy feel. He has a very distinctive youthful aura that I don't see in other actors. His behaviors and mannerisms also show a lot of duality, which reflect well on his acting and the characters he portrays. If you've watched enough of his works, you'll see the range of his acting and how much he improved since debut. His acting and line delivery in SAL was great and so fitting of the character Jin Zhao. Many non-fans were impressed by his eye acting, the details and subtleness in the way he conveys emotions.

I forgot the exact time when he became adidas ambassador because I was mostly just focusing on his works then. He loves analyzing his characters in depth. From my observation, He Yu used to be very cheerful, loves to smile when he first debuted. In his older videos, he would still joke around casually with fans. However, C ent is quite harsh. He experienced a few episodes of cyberbullying. Some netizens directly insults him on his social media accounts like Weibo, Dou Yin (aka TikTok). So he's more cautious and matured now. But he's a strong person, he knows how to take care of himself. He has a very carefree personality. When he doesn't smile, he can come across as aloof, which can make people misunderstand him. He prioritizes comfort for his cloths. He loves sports and outdoor activities, so I won't be surprised if he wore adidas before.

for me it was dashing love, i discovered He Yu and Neo Huo there. He is so handsome.
You should, although the drama has its issues and he's SML doesn't have a lot of screentime, his character as Ye Ding Zhi was great. It's his first role that increased his popularity in 2024. I would also recommend Sword and Fairy too because the fight scenes were much better. These two are my favorite from his period dramas.

Drama adaptations are rarely 100% identical to original novels, which is why they are called adaptations. Even…
He Yu and Bao Shang En are equal billing here. He's not above her. The drama's official Weibo account was very clear about that. Whether this adaptation will be successful rests mainly on the scriptwriter/author. The last I checked, He Yu's filming schedule was only 6 days this month, which is not a lot of screentime for the ML. So, can't say for sure that the female-centric plot will turn into a completely different story now. We'll see when it gets released in 2027.

He Yu has good acting skills, so we just need a good plot and a well-written FL character to secure viewership. This director previously worked with HY on another project. We'll also see how that turns out later this year, but I haven't heard anything bad about him.

The main problem is C drama land has been doing poorly for years now. The drama market is going downhill. The current crew is considered A tier only, not S or S+. If there's sth to worry about, it would be the budget of this drama. It can affect the quality of the production. Yet, the actors are the ones facing all the hate and criticisms, especially He Yu. I feel bad too, cause it's not the actors' fault if the production company can't provide better or if the scriptwriter doesn't do justice to her own story.
