Can some ppl please stop commenting how the new drama he's filming is a waste of time? He Yu accepted the role for a reason. In the recent magazine interview, he said this character (Xiao Jing Xi) "marks an important transition into more serious period drama with greater emotional depth , rather than the familiar romantic archetype". He's a smart actor who knows what he wants. Just trust him and respect his choices instead of judging prematurely or making a fuss about screentime. One of his goals for 2026 is to "work smoothly". He values a peaceful environment during filming. He doesn't fight for billing, just minding his own business like he always had. If you really care about him, just focus on promoting his dramas and roles, and be respectful towards his coworkers.
RECENT UPDATE: Blossoms of Power is rumored to air on May 20. His C and Intl fans are saving up $ for promotion. So far, they managed to gather 100,000 rmb (4k) cloud seats booking for his character, Xiao Hua Yong (This is important to boost his data, traffic stats, heat index and revenue). The drama has 58.9k reservations on WeTV app so far. Reservations can also be done on Tencent Video China app.
The Guardian Liu Heng Shun is available for reservations on Youku. Might also air sometime in 2026.
Reborn of The Rightful is available for reservations on IQIYI.
This drama is truly a gem, all the actors especially the veterans performed so well, like real proper actors. Line delivery, facial expressions, their gaze, the way they behave and walk are just to engaging. Really liked the comedic spin, but also loved how the script writer tackled the more serious and heavy themes. Zhang Ruo Yun was awsome as ML. He looks even better in Season 2. Hope season 3 is on the way. I can't wait for another 5 years. The only thing I didn't like is how they changed the actors for some supporting characters in season 2 like Ye Ling Er, but I liked the new Yan Bing Yun.
I am truely sorry to Bao Shang En for the unnecessary hate she is getting just for starring in Reborn of the Rightful.…
Some hate comments that I've seen are from netizens who are jealous of her getting FL role. Some are from set up accounts, purposely trying to create fan wars by ragebaiting. Like that user below this comment section. Not all the hate she gets are Speed and Love related, but if I see any irrational behaviors from CP fans, I speak up against them when I can because I want to maintain a peaceful environment for all of He Yu's dramas. His solo fans don't like the CP fans who behave irrationally and don't approve of their behaviors either. This is why I defended Bao Shang En against that user who insulted her and compared her to EY. But solo fans can't oversee everything and don't control others' behaviors. Speaking from experience, I witnessed He Yu faced mass cyberbullying cause of his costars' previous CP fans too, so I understand the feeling. I try to set boundaries when I can. But some people just refuse to reason, so I simply report and block instead of giving them more engagement. Also, based on the BTS clips, the actors seem to be getting along fine. So, don't let what happens amongst certain fans to affect your mood too much.
We will most likely get an interaction at IQYI Night (I am pretty sure about this: Esther is IQYI global ambassador…
Don't believe any of the melons and don't spread them without confirmation from official channels. He Yu doesn't have any confirmed upcoming projects other than what's already filmed and currently filming. A lot of those melons are purposely spread by marketing accounts to get him hated/ dissed by actresses' fans.
Recently my insta is flooded with videos or he yu and his ex gf. Did they get back together ?
I don't see anything related to that on my side... maybe it's your own account's issue. But if it bothers you, then click uninterested. You can filter what you see you know... There are no news of them getting back together or having contact with each other recently. They're both busy with their schedules. All I see are his brand activities, reuters and drama related edits.
Watch episode 21 and lmk if you're still confused. I'll answer! but the scene with both of them at a coffee place…
He probably got some pain killer or sth to help him numb the pain, cause in another scene later, he literally collapsed as soon as she left. The ML also has strong willpower. He basically forced himself to stand up, pretending he was fine, so that FL could leave him and be with her sick mom in Canada. This way she would not be torn to choose between him and her mom.
It's really sad that this drama lacks promotional materials and why didn't the production team and youku bring…
Honestly Idk... and kinda disappointed. This finished filming back in 2024. They passed censorship and obtained broadcasting license and all, but seems to have no signs of airing. Maybe something's up with the platform... cause no actors got into issues.
The crew has been super lowkey from the start of filming to wrap up. If I remember correctly, the ML and FL promoted on Hi6 for this drama, but Yuzi didn't go which is too bad. Anyways, I just really want him back on screen soon.
I doubt this drama is gonna gain much attention from general public, if they don't promote it properly, but I hope I'm wrong once it airs. I heard there's been some changes to the script compared to the novel. Hope the plot, acting, styling and special effects aren't too disappointing.
may i ask if you know heyu's filming schedule for this month?
I don't right now unfortunately, been busy lately. I can let you know if I figure it out later. Or I would recommend you following his fan sites on X and Red Note app if you can. He has an assistant account, but sometimes certain fans update faster with the Reuters.
really wish He Yu can work with director Mao de Shu again in another modern drama, hopefully it's a military soldier role (like he always wanted). Will support all his works and characters, but whatever his next project is I just hope it's a good script and with a more professional production team. 2026's wish pls come true!
