really like Guo Xiao Yu, her character feels so convincing and relatable. Not the top student, struggles more often than not, but always finds a way to shine. He Lan Dou did a great job portraying the character as well. Her energy matches the character the best.

Had enough of randos who know nothing about He Yu, yet come here to spread misinformation about him... so I wanna debunk some of those ridiculous claims.

1 - He Yu's company DID NOT manipulate the script for Speed and Love.

The script belongs to IQIYI platform, not to his company. The drama's production team doesn't work for his company or boss. In fact, his boss has a bad relationship with IQIYI higher ups, they even argued on Weibo in the past. The investors and IQIYI aren't stupid... why would they let a small actor's company (who they had bad blood with) to manipulate the script and change the whole crew just for him? How does that make any sense? Stop spreading lies and defamations! There are no proof that his company did that. The drama hasn't even air, where do assumptions like FL's role got weakened come from? Wait for the final product to release before judging carelessly!

2- He Yu already had past experience as ML.

He auditioned to earn his leading roles in smaller productions and his supporting roles in dramas with bigger productions like Legend of Shenli and Dashing Youth, where he got recognition for his acting and the portrayal of his characters. He worked his way up from guest roles and supporting roles then to lead roles just like many others in the industry. Collaborated with many non-traffic actors before acting as 2rd billing ML for more popular actresses. It is possible to get roles based on one's own ability even when an actor is under a company. He spoke about his audition experience in past interviews. Many of the scripts he received aren't even high quality or big IPs. Some of the production teams he worked with didn't even have the funds to properly promote his dramas. That's why I can say that he's not privileged with good resources all the time like haters are spreading around. Besides, an actor's success relies on his own performance and the script's quality, not who they work with lol 😂...

3 - He Yu IS NOT your punching bag!

He doesn't deserve all the online hate, harassment, defamations and cyberbullying for accepting roles that he likes and that are suitable for him! Haters targeting and discrediting He Yu using other actors' names are so ridiculous... this won't give your favs more resources lol. If you have time and energy, go complain to your favs' agencies instead of initiating fights on international platforms. Just because some can't get main roles, doesn't mean that others don't deserve their chances.

4. He has never been rude to staff! (Don't judge a book by its cover!)

A lot of things on the Internet is taken out of context or purposely twisted to ruin someone's reputation. But He Yu is a humble, friendly and kind person deep down. He is often misunderstood and doesn't have a big fandom to defend him.

He takes his career as an actor very seriously and treats everyone around him well. He's not the rude and mannerless person that some actresses/actors' fans are trying to paint him to be.

Just because you don't get his visuals doesn't mean he looks average and not suitable for ancient dramas. His most notable roles are all from costume dramas lol. You're clearly haven't watch any of his works, don't know anything about him and somehow already full of bias against him. It's the second time I see you. Dissing him and spreading false rumors about his agent. How about focusing on the actors that you like instead😂... He Yu didn't ask for your attention.

the original director is also the script writer for SAL, named Zhao Xiao Lei. But she never directed a drama alone before, so she asked Yu Chung Chung to help out. They've collaborated on other projects before.

In many videos, we can see her always accompanies him to the airport and even on filming sets. There were interviews about it in the past also.
Deng Lun's past agent never became agent for another artist after he got banned. He just owns He Yu's company, but never gave him a proper studio and didn't give him any good scripts before. He Yu got his roles because he fought for them through countless auditions. He worked with Meng Zi Yi back in 2022 before she got famous and both of them have worked with YaoKe Media before, the company that produced Blossoms of Power in which they had their second collaboration. That company likes to use familiar artists for their projects. For collaboration with Esther Yu, he got the role because he fits the character perfectly. Novel fans were happy about the casting choice. Only FL fans were complaining and cyberbullied him. He Yu was never a traffic star to begin with and his resources were poor before he got exposure playing supporting roles in The Legend of Shenli and Dashing Youth. He's been around in the industry for 7 years now. He's not a newbie lol. He's been steadily improving his acting skills throughout the years. For those who have actually watched his dramas, they can literally see his progress.

Lester's character is the bodyguard of the crown prince Xiao Hua Yong (He Yu's character). He basically follows him everywhere, like a sidekick. I believe his appearance in both the novel and drama to be quite high. Their relationship is quite interesting in the novel, he's often rendered speechless with the Crown Prince's antics. Lester and He Yu seem very close based on the Reuters as well, so it will be interesting to see how their chemistry will play out on screen.

This is a great drama actually, can't believe it's not watched by many. The entire cast's acting skills are great from young actors to more senior actors.

I love Fu Rong Jun, He Yu does a great job portraying his growth throughout the drama.

Also, what happened to He Yu during Nine Yin True Sutra is because someone paid for those black searches and posts against him. Many of those materials are repetitive and initiated by marketing accounts if you haven't noticed. He's being targeted for a while now and his haters took advantage of the situation to mock him. Many of those who insulted him never actually watched the drama properly.

I decide to speak up for him because I knew him before all these videos and rumors floating around and even before he acts with Esther. Did you know that the person that was rude got scolded by He Yu's other more rational fans, and she apologized for her behavior to Esther and her fans on Weibo on the same day? Whereas those who cursed at him, slandered and harassed him never apologized.
