Anyone know the name of the kid who played Child Sigma ? He was amazing! I could hear Kim Byung Chul's intonations and gestures, even some of the expressions. He did such a great job. I do hope he was okay after filming such heavy scenes. But in any case he gave the creeps, kuddos for his hard work!

We're had some more info! We know Seo Hae is born in 2012 and in the latest episode we see it's 2035 when she leaves in one of her trip so she's supposed to be 23/24
Amongst more serious things I really loved how Tae Sul put himself in front of Seo Hae, mirroring all the times he put himself behind her in the face of danger. It was a nice parallel to have and show Tae Sul's growth and growing feelings for Seo Hae.
The change in music director is counterproductive. The new background musics are less dark and deep. One is well…
It's really too bad, really. the BGMs this episode were off and it fell flat more often than not for me. I hope it'll get better in the remaining episodes, I think yesterday's episode might have threw us off because it's the transition so let's just hope it'll get better tonight and next weeks. Nevertheless, I'm missing the BGMs and overture music from the first half of the drama and I hope they'll be present in the full ost
A strong episode and some powerfully emotional scenes. I must say though, I knew the music directing was changed but I wasn't expecting a change in the overture theme. Too bad, I quite liked the previous one. The new overture might grow on me but it sounds pretty dull.
If the Sigma guy arrived before 9/11, and Tae San saw him the same day he talk to a 20s something Tae Sul ...…
Tae Sul is 38/39 in present day as his birthday is shown to be 1st July 1982 (Tae San's suitcase code that was said to be his birthday). But nevertheless, it's your typical drama logic. Because that means in 2001 the glasses-wearing Tae Sul provoking an electricity shortage is 19 and clearly Cho Seung Woo isn't sksksksksks. I assume Tae San is much older than Tae Sul, probably by 10 years, that's what I have assumed but I might be completely wrong. Anyway, that's just how kdramas are sometimes.
scenes in the destroyed future with nature taking over civilization are giving me major 'The last of us' vibes.
Honestly, same. I joked about it with a friend who's a massive fan (and doesn't watch dramas) and he agreed seeing the visuals. I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of their inspiration. Nevertheless, they did a really good job at the set design and cgi for it!
Hi again, I really like your comments. if you want your brain explode, come on this blog:https://bitchesoverdramas.com/and/or…
What an interesting read, thank you for sharing! I was leaning towards this theory but in much less detail and without so may words, you explained it really well!

To be fair the call was very anecdotal. We see the old guy answer say something like "yes." He then looks at his wife on the bed and then he goes to kill himself
I like this drama but...What was the deal with that red sniper dot on the chest of that old guy. Why was it there…
For the dots, I think there were other windows from the other side ? That's unclear. As for his suicide, he receives a call, probably from Sigma and I guess we'll learn about it in the coming episodes. Maybe he threatened him, maybe they had a deal or something or idk
The song begin 49:40. No idea, I don't find it on OST. Nice song.
The OST has been really nice especially background music and the opening as well. But they're only releasing a song a week on platforms so I guess we'll have to wait the end of the drama to have the full albums with the background musics :(

To be fair this week's episodes have made him quite annoying to me because he sounds so entitled to Seo Hae's affection even though they barely saw one another. Your suggestions sound credible but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, there was a typo in my previous post, I said I'm not ruling out Sun completely. As you said, there is the gambling similarity. But if it's the case, I'd be curious what turnt him from this boyish kind of lovable young man to a heartless man. A simple jealousy for Tae Sul would be to cheap. So if it's Sun what would turn him like this? Maybe something related to his family I presume?
A question from Episode 8 : If Seo Hae was killed by Sigma (the wedding scene with Tae Sul) then how come she's…
It's a time loop. The myth of Sisyphus is that Sisyphus is punished to go through the same task over and over again and will always fail, for eternity, in a never-ending loop. It's the same here. Someone else explained here further down below but basically :
We have our Seo Hae who lives her life through the apocalypse and suddenly finds the journal. She learns about Tae Sul and saving the world. She goes to the present, find Tae Sul, protects him, etc : what we're seeing right now. What we have to understand from these is that in the loop, Seo Hae and Tae Sul fall in love, things happen and she dies (or even both of them die). Tae Sul gave her a journal. That's the journal. Our Seo Hae will write what is on the journal, she already had the journal before so she knows she will find it in the Apocalypse so, probably, she dies with it and simply waiting for the young Seo Hae to find it, making the loop complete.
That's basically it I think. It's probable that Seo Hae has done this a hundreds time already but has always failed. But maybe we'll see the breaking of the time loop, in one way or another.
Hm. Back to square one as regard Sigma though I still entirely rule out a relation (direct or indirect) with Sun. I'm trying to think but I'm empty handed so far. Thinking and discussing might help. Anyway, a calmer episode in the present-day. Again, melted at the scenes between Tae San and Seo Hae, I've really began to ship them. And then the flashback... When she gets all these memories from her future self and was that a kiss scene that was hinted (just before the gunshot) ??? Anyway, so excited for next week!
Korean still watch massively. 4% or 5% on JTBC is very good rating.Add to that, Sisyphus is n°1 on korean netflix.…
Yes, there's an article on Han Cinema saying how popular the show is on Netflix. It's #1 in many Asian countries including Korea and that's why it was able to rank #10 in global Netflix. The show has a constant viewership on Netflix and a tad less on TV, is all.
Anyway, that's just how kdramas are sometimes.

I hope that made sense!
