Right?! It wasn't just the pink sparks, thunder/lightning and doors clapping but the whole production put together where the chorus comes in just as the dark clouds rush in. It was such an extraordinary scene!

I just finished 3 eps and I really like it! I would recommend =) I grew up watching TVB dramas so stuff like the blood spitting, flying, dubbing and wigs don't bother me like some folks.

I agree that Wu Lei is a fantastic actor and he did a great job in TLB but I disagree about his looks, I think he's quite the hottie. The Wangs Dylan and Yibo are not my thing.

I skipped through scenes here and there in The Blue Whisper because I couldn't stand the FL constantly being abused over and over.

I paused at ep 22 of New Life Begins and I'm finding lack of motivation to pick it up again but will try to.

I only watched Wu Lei scenes in LLTG and it really wasn't worth it imo.

Yeah I think he really tried to start anew since so many outside factors forced his hand. Based off of comments I've read, it seems like majority of people hate Junhui. I think he added much needed spice in the series.

I feel that's expecting too much from Junhui and not enough from Qin Shi. To each their own.

Exactly, so that's why I partially blame Qin Shi for deciding for the both of them. Neither tried their best to work things out. At least Junhui made an attempt. Seven years is a lot to throw away so easily without even trying to hear Junhui's side.

I disagree. If she ghosted him, that's her way of saying I'm done and he accepted. It would be weird if he like stalked her or something. If he truly was the mama's boy as you had described, he would be the one to break up with Qin Shi.

I think Junhui like most SMLs really got screwed in the series. I felt so bad for him. His mom made Qin Shi leave and Qin Shi completely ghosted him afterwards without giving him a chance to tell her his side. He tries to move on with the little princess but he later realizes deep down it's not really what he wants. In the end, he has the spoiled brat following him to his next chapter. Sucks to be him.

I kinda understood Yang Hua wanting to step back but it might just be me that feels like both leads have shown numerous times how much they love each other. It's very common in asian culture to not say it with words but through your actions. So I find it odd that there were doubts. Qin Shi I can understand her doubts because Yao Yao, the kid, not being sure who Yang Hua was helping in the lawsuit.

It seems like the ending was Yang Hua's intention. Yao Yao asked him what if their planned backfired and he said he has it planned out. So he was most likely hoping Qin Shi would have her realization but if not, he already knew how he felt and wants to be with her regardless. So after he made enough to afford his own place, he decides to live right across from her to give her just enough space to not feel pressured =)

This was a great drama with so many amazing elements; a fierce FL, a perfect ML simp, likable supporting characters, in addition to powerful messages about women and relationships. So many occasions I had to keep guessing so it wasn't a set formula which is fantastic! I'm bummed it's over because I'll have to find my next fix.
