Yeah I heard it was the sh1t! But because I prefer pure romance as oppose to war stories, I put it on hold for a minute. Since this show is a hotmess and Novoland Pearl Eclipse is boring af to me, I thought I'd give The Long Ballad a try. I'm ok with the leads not having major kissing scenes since there is a age gap and I still see him as the kid from Nirvana in Fire lol.

Truth lol. I started The Long Ballad and it's just what I needed to ease into adulting after skipping to ep 22 of Rebirth to You and it still being a complete waste of time. I couldn't start real life until my palette was refreshed XD

I'm only on ep 19 and I'm thinking "40 episodes of high blood pressure". I watch cdramas to destress, not add on to it. I've been going back and forth about dropping but I do like Joseph Zeng. Well the fact that the first few minutes has a dad choking out his own daughter, it's kinda an indication we're heading for some heavy stuff. Not shipping the age gaps of the lead characters either. Imo, it's not a very exciting start but I'll continue to watch and see how it goes =P
