LSS trying to force her way into TTJ's tent but NBY blocks her. Wouldn't blame TTJ for not seeing her after THAT shouting match, but why LSS still wants to talk to him, I can't figure out. To scream at him more?? He heard you already once!😅

LSS's sheer determination to keep TTJ alive breaks TTJ's apathy towards his own life.
And TTJ, in turn, learns to protect another life aside from his own.

"Why didn't you tell me you were poisoned?" "Why, are you a doctor?"
"Why do you want me to live so badly" "You can't die without my permission"

One of the sequences I love in this episode is TTJ and LSS's conversation in the hut. LSS is again confronted with the suffering that TTJ went through with the constant betrayals by the people by his side. Of course, she does "Punch first, ask questions later" but then, the last time they saw each other, he had the upper hand, and she also fully believed in Lan'an protecting TTJ. The punch isn't without cause too, as LSS again emphasizes the worth of the people around him.
Despite the nonchalance TTJ had while talking about Lan'an's betrayal and his poor upbringing in the Jing Palace, his eyes and the tone of his voice couldn't lie.

LYX and BL's acting here is just mesmerizing to watch. Both delivering on the feels and the emotions that their characters are feeling.

LSS's extra annoyed punch to the chest after TTJ wakes up is quite funny.
"Why is it you?" TTJ asks. Indeed.

LSS takes time to write a letter back home just to ease her family's minds. While they think she is gallivanting with TTJ around Jing Kingdom, little do they know she's fighting for her life, and his😅
