......the ep started ok enough, tho that's a lot of exposition comjng from CJM.😅 LYX's voice even sounds rushed and idk, bored(?) with that amount of exposition =I mean, it seems it doesn't have a lot of emotions since they're all explanations of stuff. Anyway. Moving on.
.........ADG IS BACK! Or so it seems. The look of awe on SY's face when she first thought it was ADG is so enchanting. Tho you'd kinda know it wasn't ADG at the rewatch since the voice doesn't sound bored enough, and it asked too many questions too so.... no wonder SY picked up on it. Idk about JM, but he really doesn't seem to be the brightest 😅
.....did he just do a CAPE FLIP???? As CJM disappeared after his convo with the two??? Tsk. Too short.
......why is the bgm cute when perm guy is on??🙄
.....CJM and perm guy face off. Really, too much exposition here..... which could have and should have translated into dialogue so LSS can know im advance exactly what kimd of scum her mom's sperm donor is. WHERE IS LSS WHEN THERE'S IMPORTANT DIALOGUE TO BE HAD???
......perm guy tries to be a protective father by warning LSS about CJM.🙄

......CJM asks if they can have a chance together. LSS gives a very vague answer.🙄 Yeah, LSS. why does perm guy get a second chance, but not you and him???
.....in true TTJ fashion, CJM decides to bother LSS this time because she bothered HIM in yhe past.😅🤣 CJM, your TTJ is peeking🤣
......now that I'm nitpicking, I really think now that aside from editing, this episode suffers from TOO MUCH EXPOSITION.
......since everybody skips MN's scenes, let me watch it for you.🤣🤣🤣 I love how SY dotes on MN, like she really loves her sister. MN calling CJM devious is her calling the kettle black.🤪MN hinting how they'd use NBY is a hint that's sadly underused. (I mean, yeah, NBY does betray CJM later, but if he had interacted with MN, it would have made his actions more despicable😅 Plus, I want to see the look on his face when he sees YBC alive as a demon🤣)
.....GJW does NOT need such a dramatic bgm to emphasize his brokenheartedness.🤣
......MN is presented as a benevolent demon providing shelter for other demons. 🤢🤣 their meeting again scene could have worked better if one feels the chemistry between them. Sadly, they're paired against another two which more than made up for their slack🤣
......idk, they (the editors/writers) shouldn't have hinted at NBY+YFY if they're going to cut it anyway.
......NBY OBVIOUSLY sending devil messages in the immortal sect.🙄 of course, who else but perm guy sees, amd immediately jumps to the conclusion that DG has something to do with that. Plus, his pretending to be a good father with all his thoughts about LSS is 🤢

.....and the confusion begins. The Ye Mei storyline really could have done better with YQY in it🤣 and more of CJM annoying LSS moments🤣

......GJW being shown TTJ and YXW loving moments reminds me of that scene in Harry Potter 8 where Ron is shown Harry and Hermione kissing soooo passionately. THAT should have been what GJW sees: passionate kissing by our passionate lovebirds.🤣🤔😍 no, SJ/MY scenes are not enough🤣

......LSS choosing the Pohang festival as the scene to be in while being possessed by the demon really emphasizes the fact that it really was the moment she knew that she sincerely loved TTJ.
......lots of reused footage here from episode 1. Tsk tsk. Because they're editing out YQY, editors be like let's cut copy paste the heck out of our best episode onto this one and make our worst one ever. This is such a Frankenstein episode, really.
.....and the next scene after they defeat Ye Mei suddenly has such a happy bgm as if nothing happened previously.

Except for a few moments, I think this ep didn't contribute much to the overall story. It only brought a lot of regrets that YQY didn't make an appearance here.🙄

Somewhere in this sea of comments someone said it's never xianxia without all those.
What matters is the delivery, and the people in that dream arc did it well (yes, TH included, evil tho she is.). Tho it may be boring, if you're not up for cgi fights especially, it is essential to understanding the events that come next, not only in the mortal arc, but also in the immortal one as well.

Plus, weren't you impressed by the acting in that arc? The sweet one sided love, the eventual warming up of the cold heart, the bitter breakup, the eventual reunion, and lastly yes, the misunderstandings and the conclusion of a 10,000 year love? I think that suitably makes up for any "boring" parts in that arc.

Nothing is boring if some feelings are there.

Yep. According to that convo b/w SY and MN. I'm not sure tho if the YBC incarnation is the last one or the only reincarnation into the mortal world that she had.

The sect chiefs, despite their looks, are babies in the face of SY and JM. At the first watch, I thought JM was weak, but now, on rewatch, with hindsight, JM was just buying time really for SY and pretending to be hurt.

I like the explanation about the eye, but I also hold on to the first thoughts that that red-normal eyes were a mirror of MY's choice of devilizing or not.

GJW should have stayed as the Senior Brother from the original.🙄 then again, that was satisfying to see that nope, no other man has any room in LSS's heart. (Though of course CJM doesn't know yet, since LSS is playing HARD to get.🙄

Nah, she isn't. They were just characters in the Dream, and the real TH is different (in looks at least) from YBC/MN.
According to the timeline, if SY and MN lived the same time as the first God of war, the father of TH, then MN and TH lived in the same era, then rescued by ADG when he killed 1ST GoW, Then sent to mortal world for the tribulation.

OG YXW went away when LSS came from the future... I presume she died when the bandits were chasing her, from a fall (coz when we meet YXW for the first time, she's lying on the ground. Besides, it's what was in the novel). YXW/LSS died in the lightning punishment, but being a phoenix, she survives the karmic fire from that LP and comes back as LSS.

That last bit is 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes. What a 🍆blocking ADG.🤣

To be fair, LSS is playing hard to get as well.😅

Had the same idea about SY and JM not recognizing ADG: It's the mask😅

About LSS burning.....weeeelll, what do phoenixes do? They burn to ashes so that they come to life again. So yeah. Maybe thru the lightning tribulation, maybe sponyaneously, as she said.

When her father (not the sperm donor) sent her soul into the world, the evil nasty part broke away and became OG YXW. When LSS transmigrated into YXW's body, the evil spirit was expelled, i think, and LSS became YXW.

I almost forgot about NBY in this ep. Yeah, without the fringe at the sides, and the curls, he looks.......strange. not like the NBY we knew before.

LSS can't pretend she doesn't feel anything for CJM anymore, given that she failed to control her expressions while he was talking. The face says it all.🥺

....that shot with MY and ADG side by side perfectly shows the duality of TTJ's soul.. it's not exactly a fight between his good and evil sides, but rather his capacity for being both good and evil, and his understanding of both sides too. It was a reused footage yes, but one used effectively.

Episode 32. I opened the file again to see that I've stopped somewhere in the middle again. Hahaha it's because this is an episode that's so rewatchable.

.....FINALLY THE LONG AWAITED REUNION IS HERE! But of course, LSS doesn't want to reveal herself yet to CJM, and CJM is still doubting whether she is the real YXW or another fake XL.
I find myself staring into LYX's mesmerizing, beautiful, expressive eyes again.😍 (all right, I'm going to use the word now) His microexpressions convey the hope and yearning towards YXW that he feels when he sees LSS.
......CJM amd LSS talk about MY and SJ as if they were just characters in a story and not lives that they've gone through. This convo makes me realize that the Bo're dream is seen through at least these two POVs: TTJ as MY, and LSS with SJ. Hence the questions by LSS ("If he regretted, why didn't he come after her?") and CJM ("How do you know he didn't?"). The answers made MY-SJ's story sadder.🥺
......CJM CAUGHT LSS!🤣 You can never escape that man's persistence, LSS.🤣
......Hengyang Sect is attacked by JM, who serves as distraction for SY to get the Bone refining Seal. Defense seems a bit disorganized, but ok, let's just say it's because they were ambushed.
......(writing in advance so as not to miss the next scene) CJM VS TWO SISTERS IS THE BEST FIGHT EVER!!🤩
.....SY transforming into devil SY raised goosebumps on my skin.😨 add to that the hologram that rose out behind her, and the fact that she keeps smiling throughout the fight.🥶🥶
......LSS comes to save the day. WHY👏DON'T👏WE👏GET👏MORE👏OF👏THIS?!? Instead, we have her knocked out every single fight😑WEI SHEN ME? -scratch that if I'm wrong- WHY???
.....nah it wasn't a leak that made the defense go wrong QXZ. It's the weak plan itself. Anyway, didn't they intend to let the demons in in the first place? Why are they wondering why the demons showed up?

.....half skipped LSS's origins because of perm guy. QXZ, decide first if perm guy is fit to be LSS's father before having her kowtow to him. Just because he's the sperm donor...........
....LSS realizes how imprtant it is for her to ascend to a god. But of course, her feelings for TTJ/CJM make her hesitate.
.....LSS amd CJM finally TALK. CJM pours out everything to LSS: his love for her, his regrets, his efforts to find her soul. LSS pretends not to be affected by any of it, but she breaks when she hears he's been swimming in the Nether River and realizing more than any other the consequences of that.
......but LSS still insists she doesn't want to go back to the past and be YXW. Instead she wants to become a true god, and him to be a disciple forever. CJM's last words hit hard: "When you said you didn't want to meet again in any life, you meant it."😭
.......Prince Liang 2.0 vows revenge on CJM. I knew you were trouble when you walked in.......

......and realized how similar Eren's mission is to TTJ's. Have everyone hate you for what you're doing and end up with your loved one killing you🥺💔
