I felt personally hurt when you skipped TTML's scenes🤣🤣🤣 I like that actor so much🤣

My take is, I don't think TTJ meant to cure XL at all. XL had PYZ, who is a disciple of Xiaoyao, so TTJ would assume that PYZ would take care of XL. but what TTJ intended to do was to disable XL so that Sheng troops will be demoralized and makes it easier for TTJ's army to capture all Sheng remnants and finally integrate them into Jing. XL is so stubborn to consider a lesser role in TTJ's government, so TTJ'd rather disable him than kill him. Employing YXW to do that is him hitting two birds with one stone. If porridgegate never happened, then someone else would have done the stabbing.

But of course TTJ miscalculated how stubborn and hard headed XL could be, and how much XL desires a grand death, whether on the battlefield or as a sacrifice for the peace of the kingdoms.

Elegance...hm.🤣 so much to the point that I wanted SJ to mess up that face before she killed her🤣🤣🤣

That pause and flashbacks in between the question and the answers made that bit difficult to understand immediately. Same with the others I also thought TTJ was covering for YXW and the "it's me" answer meant that TTJ took on the blame for poisoning grandma/the porridge. (So the "Why would YXW poison grandma?" question by YZY I took by suspending my disbelief😅🤣)

As soon as I woke up this morning, I kinda expected thst before this day ends, we would have the 78K... Congrats everyone🥳🥳🥳

(I really can drown in LYX's minute expressions. The smallest eyebrow twitch, the small tear that doesn't fall, the movements of his eyes express A LOT of emotions. When I first saw the word "microexpressions" here, I rolled my eyes and thought it's an exaggeration. But when I watched more of LYX, I ate my words and say now that indeed, those are explosive microexpressions.)
...PYZ makes a deal for TTJ's heart blood for the yin and yang bracelets. Desperate, TTJ accepts the deal, even if PYZ doesn't explain why he needs it. He really does everything for her.🥺 even risk his life to keep her alive.
(I wonder though, what he does to take the blood. Does he....stab his heart and let the blood flow?🥺 and it's even a BOTTLE! Not a drop, a BOTTLE!🥺)
....i wonder what PYZ divines for XL? Does he foresee him resurrecting? Or do the coins tell him he'll succeed in resurrecting him?

....Ji Ze visits YXW in her dreams and gives last minute hints about how to destroy the DG. YXW of course feels guilty about TTJ, but JZ tells her that even if there was no mission, she and TTJ can't be together😭 it's their fate.

These two break my heart EVERY TIME. They were the best couple (sorry TTJ/LSS) for me out of the three because their love was like water, not hard, but gentle and free flowing. As I said, they had the healthiest relationship, and to lose them like this.....😭😭😭

The misunderstood ML is precisely why I thought at first that this is similar to scarlet heart. They were both thought to be evil, but are actually good. Their FLs always think he is going to be evil even if he is showing her sincere love. (And both had the premise of time travelling to change the destiny of the ML).

But yeah, this drama goes beyond the tragedy of scarlet heart. 😭
(But to be fair, SH has 16 eps as compared to this one's 40, with a lot more storylines to agonize over. SH left crumbs, TTEOTM ate them all.)
