....that scene where TTJ asks ZY to be his disciple is hilarious🤣 ZY acting like a hard to get girl with all those expressions was🤣 and TTJ's reaction made it funnier
.....LSS and Yue Fuya meet. Right on time before LSS doubts that 500 years ago never happened, and is just a dream. Then they go to town to hear a crappy story (according to the comments before🤣) about TTJ, which again makes LSS wonder about him. (LSS should wonder what he did with her divine essence)
....at almost the same time, TTJ is semt to comfort an old woman in her dying days, masquerading as her son. That whole convo at granny's last day was pain.
"Are you a good person?"
"I don't know."
"Will you turn evil for you to find her?"
A second of temptation, then TTJ shakes it off and says "No, YXW won't like that."
And TTJ doubting his ability to be good while looking at his hands (in my mind, he does that because he is remembering how he manipulated YXW to kill XL.
....does Xiaoyao mean letting go of onsessions or being free? (I based these guesses on the subs) either way, it fits its disciples.
.....on the other hand, LSS can't let go of her obsession/love for TTJ.
.....the small moments of CJM with his sect brothers is to be treasured.
.....CJM cultivating to be an immortal. Lol at ZY sleeping on duty, uch lile YXW when she taught TTJ the sketch charm
......ZY is so funny🤣 LSS, you only just realized now that TTJ is your love?.....suffering?
......and we got an understanding about GJW's relationship with LSS, which is this time, not as brotherly as in ep1.

Thank God for this chill episode after previous episodes of anguish and pain🤣 we can be able to breathe again. To prepare for the next episodes to come.

...Xiaoyao Sect Leader Zhaoyou is introduced as this cool badass general🤩 I kinda forgot how cool he can be because I skipped/didn't pay attention to this scene much in my last replay (this is my second complete rewatch btw, and I only watch the highlights for research purposes). He and Hengyang Sect Leader Qu Xuanzi perfectly complement each other as Leader Qu is the master of spells too😊 (I forgot because he is either the funny uncle to LSS, or the kind father to TTJ.)
...QXZ is called to Heaven Lake due to a distirbance there, and so is GJW (when we still knew him as the kind brother from ep 1😅).......... and LSS appears!🎉🎉🎉 btw, she's such a princess in the immortal realm🤣 (well, she practically is, being the only offspring of the goddess Chu Huang, so ok, deserved.🤣)
....Father and daughter are reunited🥺🥰 but again, I feel another kind of hurt for LSS🥺 In this renewed timeline, no one knows that they were almost eradicated, that life simply went on as peacefully as possible, and once again, it's only LSS who knows what she had suffered in what everybody thinks is a simple tribulation/retreat.🥺 I feel her loneliness sometimes during this arc. It was only CJM who understood, and, well.....we know what happened next😅😭
....wait, I forgot to ask: when SY and JM attacked Yiyue tribe to find TTJ, do you think the tribe is very loyal to TTJ not to reveal his whereabouts or even his identity as a devil fetus, or do they really not know he is the devil fetus? And like check every child born to the tribe to find the DF?
......TANTAI JIN!!!🤩 I missed you for those few minutes😅🤣 (btw, why do pillows in costume dramas look like they hurt?😅🤣)
.....noticed a disconnect in scene: TTJ was thinking he saw the crossbow at the Bo're life, but the flashback scene is when DG was massacre-ing the immortal sects
.....TTJ realizing he was in Xiaoyao Sect that MY created should give a sense of wonder that I would have if I'm given the chance to step into those filming locations🤣..
.....Upon seeing ZY, TTJ remembers YXW again. 🥺
......ZY is sooo cool🤣 The way he talks to TTJ is both kind (in a biting way) and to the point at the same time. "I'll let you go, but you'll come back anyway😜"
......TTJ sees XL, now GJW, then GJW leads him to Immortal Buxu, formerly PYZ.😅 if i were TTJ, my mind would have exploded with questions of "why?" and "how?"🤯he looks far too calm🤣
......getting to talk to PYZ is like a subscription to Youku for additional scenes🤣

....TTJ might go insane again if he got burned but woke up beside a charred body.😰 like in the River, when he laughed helplessly when he realized the divine essence was healing him. There, at least he still had hope he'd find her. In the mortal world, he'd be hopeless and try to off himself as many times as he can to join YXW in death. Unless of course something happens to make him live again.

Si ying and Jing Mie will inevitably come to the Yiyue tribe because they made a deal to host the devil fetus. They just took NBY because he was useful.

I remember again during the airing dates, one of the comments here saying "Lots of blood spits by TTJ, he doesn't die, but one blood spit from NBY does him in!"😅🤣

NBY was kept alive by Si Ying and Jing Mie just like his Yiyue tribe.

....YQY finally convinces TTJ to let YXW rest in peace. TTJ reminisces every time that YXW saved him and remembers how she wanted to leave him. (Why oh why do they always have to say "I don't want to see you again"? --yep, I read the explanation, but... it hurts.
....YQY starts calling YBC by her name, not sister anymore... all familial ties are off now since she's the root of all the trouble that led to this moment. (As he should. She doesn't deserve to be called anybody's family with the way she treated Grandma😭)
....she also calls him YQY. ExCUSE me YBC., how dare you criticize THEM? You've hurt your siblings but you think they deserve it? That little monologue of hers shows how little she understands her siblings, or how biased she is towards them just because she is bitter at her station in life. No wonder YQY laughs at her.
....YBC's reasons for porridgegate is so shallow. TTJ defeats XL, but it's XL himself who wasn't as ambitious, as ruthless for power as TTJ, so it was meant to be. TTJ taking away the love threads, but she was supposed to return it anyway to the true owner and not keep it, so why blame TTJ?Both reasons are connected to how greedy she is. The evilness of YBC lies truly in her greed.
.....TTJ appears just in time to hear YBC's confession of porridgegate. He realizes how his misunderstanding led to XL's and YXW's deaths. The desolation in his eyes is devastating.
...of course, YBC is being so thickskinned and insisting still that TTJ amd YXW are the culprits. Blaming everybody else for her misfortunes again.
....TTJ sentencing YBC to death by porridge is so not equal to the destruction she caused. YQY looked surprised, and devastated because he was about to lose the last member of his family, evil though she was.🥺
....maybe it was better yhat TTJ hallucinate about YXW, hurtful tho it is, than hear ADG in his head.🥺
...Ding dong the B is dead. ☠️Death by porridge is poetic, but she doesn't deserve being comforted in her last moments by XL's letter. PYZ collects her tear for XL2.0 frankensteining later.

This wasn't so bad after all. Of course the tombstone scene and the going home together bit was hard to watch, but the Nether River scene really drives through TTJ's loneliness without YXW. The immortal arc is coming up......
