Your take is also a very valid one. Him not being there anymore coz she will live. That is true coz Hae In said before that seeing her dead brother might mean he's an angel that'll take her. But not anymore.

I think coz I'm a deep person, I tend to analyze the different meanings behind a certain scene in dramas 🤭
I tend to see more the beauty of something rather than the ugly side of it ~
