It's already extended hence why it's a long drama with 20 eps. I didn't read the webtoon so Idk how close the drama it is to it and what was added. I only know Cha Tae Hyun's character is an add-on to the drama, so there's that. Hopefully, the drama's conclusion of the story is satisfactory compared to the webtoon, as I've read it's more of an OE.
So apparently, the drama was intended to be 12-16 episodes but Kang Full, the webtoon author, wanted to capture the narrative that was left out in his original work so he proposed it needed to be longer.
