That's exactly my thought when I finished it.
He may have said his goodbye to the Jianghu (martial arts) world, but the other world, the whole world, is vast. So he can be anywhere.
For him, his life is already complete. No regrets.

I've finally completed it!~ 🤧

It was a marvelous story. A love story. A friendship story. A LIFE story of letting go of the past (you can look back at it but it should never hold you back), living in the present, and looking forward to the future.

We were once a Li Xiang Yi, young, arrogant, stubborn, and sometimes too focused on one thing that we neglected the rest.
And then later in life, we become Li Lianhua, simply living in the present, appreciating the vast world could offer, realizing that even with limited power, we can be boundless to other people.
Some of us are Fang Xiao Bao, a young-inspiring individual ready to explore the world. And on that path, we forged a fated bond with someone who sees the potential in us and guides us to be the best version of ourselves.
And then others are Di Fei Sheng, loyal to our principle but still conforming with the rules of the world.

I'm gonna miss our trio ~ But it was nice to know that outside the drama, Cheng Yi, Zeng Shun Xi, and Xiao Shun Yao, much like their own characters, formed a bond as well. It was lovely to see them hanging out in real life. Cheng Yi is very opposite to his character. While LLH has a glib tongue, CY is more pure and reserved. Shun Yao is tough and may appear ruthless as DFS but he's such a softy in real life, that even in that last scene with Jiao Liqiao, he even cried 😁. And Zeng Shun Xi, I think, is very much like FDB, youngest of the group, and also very lively and likes to joke around with his geges 😆

This is hands down of the best Cdramas I've ever watched. I hope more people will watch it and spread the word ~ 💙

I actually like him coz he's a really good brother for now. He always respects XY's decision. Men show interest in her and yet he always says it's up to XY even tho deep inside, he's unwilling.
I'll prolly dislike him in the second season.
But personally, leave all the power and throne aside, I would want him as a brother. And I already have two bros irl 😆
