Who wouldn't want someone like XL, a silent protector, always watching from afar, always ensuring you're always safe and sound, instead of protecting you, he teaches you how to protect yourself, turns hot and cold so you can never know what he thinks/feels for you, loving you so constantly from the shadows, not expecting anything in return, not even your love or care? He can only love you, but you can't love him. Now as a writer, isn't that what makes a great character for your story? 😉
