I actually think the kiss could have been even better angled if they didn't focus much on the closeup of their eyes while they were doing it.

I quite admire Xuan for being upright and reasonable most of the time. Even though he was visibly jealous of Jing when it comes to XY, he has never lied to him or even XY. Whenever Jing asks him a favor to send a message to XY, he always did. Even with Feng Long showing interest in XY, Xuan always says he will try his best but it's always gonna be XY's decision at the end.
Although ofc I know he is also partly doing it coz he actually needs Jing and Feng Long's help, but still...

And you paid for the fast track?

Wow, the dedication.. haha. I didn't even have that much time to watch one ep today. I finished LYF first. Since MLC already ended, am gonna take my time to savor it ~

Aw, understandable. Seeing heartbreak after heartbreak does take a toll on you. I just try my best to separate the drama from reality, but still can't help but feel also.
I'm just here to marvel at the acting ~ esp. TJC's :)

XY looking at XL as he leaves the brothel and slowly disappears is also a perfect tragic ending. Him saying he'll teach her archery when he comes back, but he never will.

The contrast between the dancing and the fighting in Ep 28 is so poignant and very telling. Some people can only stay in the light, while others in the darkness/shadow. Some people need that darkness so they can shine brighter. You need the shadow to remind you you exist.
Some fates are just set in stone.

Exactly. Seems XL is a picture perfect for her as a man. Something unattainable. And she did great at portraying that.
