I also think that Soo Ryeon won't have any romance or crush whatsoever with Hee Tae. This is not a typical romcom…
Agree, till now she doesn't give any signs of having any feelings for HT as she is in a big dilemma herself when it comes to herself and her family and too centered on her goals. Her smiling in the preview for Ep. 5, though, while they're picking for rings, idk if that was a genuine smile or just a pretense for people to see.
Ep 4 is heart fluttering, well, until ofc that ending. There's still remaining sweet moments between HT and MH as they have that date and holding hands in the teaser. But, I know it's gonna be a thorny path.
HT is so adorable acting so whiny and childish when it comes to MH. Oh, what love can do to a person ԅ(≖‿≖ԅ)
I see some people who are a bit annoyed at SR. But I see it in a different view. I kinda admire how driven she is in the goal she's trying to achieve no matter how dangerous it is (which btw I still don't understand yet why she is going into those rallies/protests or what drives her into doing it). And thus, she's too focused on it that she may come off as a bit selfish as she doesn't consider the consequences of her actions. She is also entangled in this web of circumstances as our other main characters are. She is given a knife, and the only way out is to clutch onto it.
Don't you guys think that they are strange together since they were siblings at sweet home?
Well, it's just like She Was Pretty. Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum's characters were siblings (though not related by blood) in Kill Me Heal Me and he even have feelings for her there. And then after Kill Me Heal Me, they immediately paired up as a couple in She Was Pretty. But for me, I don't see anything wrong with that. And to think their characters were really close as siblings there.
Welp, looks like I've signed up for two dramas with possible sad endings, this and Youth of May. However, I still think this one may have a better ending than Youth of May though. It's okay, I'll just savor the process (҂◡_◡)
Uri OTP hasn't officially gone out yet and yet there's too many hurdles they have to overcome. I just need to savor every moment MH and HT have because that's the best I can do right now. This drama is not for the weak ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
I was fooled by the teaser, I thought that scene where Myung Hee is saying. "Let's end it here", is a breakup scene but it's actually before they start going out.
So after watching Ep 3, this is why it's called Youth of May, as things are gonna revolve around the month of May. = girl in the hospital is gonna live only for one month = Myung Hee is leaving after a month = Myung Hee and Hee Tae will date for a month = Seo Ryun will ask Hee Tae to keep lying to their family since their factory is gonna be finished in a month
Looks like Hee Tae's father has encountered MH's family in the past. Probably one of the reasons also why MH is cold towards her father. And the watch appeared in Ep 3. So it's really pointing out one of the main characters might die. I'm already scared for both MH and HT because of HT's father. Ah-ahhhh... all I can see is darkness at the end of the tunnel.
Idk if it was intended or not, but do they actually have to end every episode at Hee Tae smiling at Myung Hee? I love how his eyes shifted from Soo Ryeon to Myung Hee and then he smiled... swooon ~ this boy is indeed a smooth man. Straightforward man is the trend for me ... XD
I repeated both ending scenes in Ep 1 and Ep 2, it's that good.

Quoting this drama, "Let's not just simply live, let's live happily." ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Even though I know this may not end so well, I am still so drawn to it. Here we go, pain. Nothing can hurt me.
