As with everything, don't believe this 100%, but since these people are practically saying the same things about HYX, I have reason to believe that there's at least some truth to what they're saying. For example, I've read insider info that got leaked about the last episodes of Wandavision and they turned out to be 100% true. Time will tell if these early reviews of Haoyixing will turn out to also be 100% true.
So like there are a group of people who get to watch drama before it’s aired???
Yes. They seem to be in the entertainment circle as well or know someone in the entertainment industry so that's why they have access to the first few episodes of the drama. Don't know how exactly these things work in C-ent, but in Hollywood, it's common for shows/movies to be shown to test audiences before they get released to the public.
Aaaa, that was so good! It looked similar to what someone said about the show a while ago? I wonder if it's the…
I think it's a compilation of insider info from before and new ones that are popping up. Either way, it's a good sign for the show and its success is sure to be imminent. Now we're just playing the waiting game on when it will air, unfortunately.
According to this viewer who watched 10 episodes so far (read at your own discretion): - Immortality's script and screenwriting are good - The costumes are stunning - The opening theme is apparently so good that you won't even want to move on from it - Ranmei is practically negligible - Luo Yunxi's performance as Chu Wanning is powerful - Arthur Chen is very much into the role of Mo Ran - Luo Yunxi and Arthur Chen's chemistry is too good (I already knew this) - The Taxianjun arc is really interesting - The 3799 steps scene is devastating and highly emotional (the reviewer warned us that we should prepare a lot of tissues and to cry for the rest of our lives) - The drama didn't deviate from the novel too much - The drama will blow us away 🤯
You know what pisses me off? The fact that the stuff with ZW and Alibaba are totally connected to *other* stuff…
This! I don't know how anyone can possibly believe Tencent won't air Haoyixing, one of their S tier dramas, because of some rumor made up by someone about how all BL dramas won't be able to air. You can't seriously tell me that money and time being spent on those dramas are going to waste.
I read that article and it's scary to me how some people are still dismissing all the information being addressed…
I can ask you the same question. Since you said we can't predict the future so no one is to blame, then why do you keep saying Youku should sue Zhang Zhehan? Do you have proof that he intentionally wanted to destroy his career? Do you have proof that he intentionally wanted to worship war criminals? If we're going to go down that line of thinking, should businesses affected by the coronavirus sue China since the virus originated from there? Even when the pandemic was very new, businesses still found ways to compensate their customers so regardless of whether or not Youku wanted to take Word of Honor down, it doesn't change the fact that they broke their promise. They should be able to compensate their customers and since we can't predict the future, they shouldn't be making promises they can't keep, especially something as long term as claiming that the concert will be accessible for 10 years if you purchase their VIP pass and when it additionally affects their international fans. They're a business at the end of the day so if they can't keep their promise, then other businesses would have free rein to shortchange their customers without repercussions.
I also strongly disagree that we can't talk about the scandal here. This is a comment section about Word of Honor and the Zhang Zhehan scandal affected it in a major way, considering that people in China can no longer freely access it on a streaming platform and the international version on Youtube may even be taken down someday as well.

I don't think they took down Word of Honor willingly, but these people still paid for something that wasn't promised. Whether or not they willingly took Word of Honor down, the people that paid for extra content have to be compensated for somehow, unless you suggest there shouldn't be repercussions here?
And I don't see why this comment section should be cleansed of Zhang Zhehan's scandal when the show is getting affected by it.
Holy crap congrats to this community on reaching 10k+ comments before the show comes out. O___O This is clearly a very dedicated fandom and Haoyixing/Immortality is so lucky to have it. <3
I still can't get over it. I don't know how he fell apart in such a short period of time, but I hope that whatever he decides to do with his future, he'll be happy and healthy.
Just saying, if they drop this at any time during the week, it will be a very good present for me, but I bet they'll drop the first episode at a time when we least expect it like when we're all asleep, in school, or at work. :( At any rate, I'll pray for it to come sooner for us.

I read that article and it's scary to me how some people are still dismissing all the information being addressed there. I know we're supposed to separate Word of Honor and Zhang Zhehan's scandal in the comment section, but it's becoming impossible to do so when Word of Honor is being legitimately affected by an entire country's treatment of Zhang Zhehan. Youku already took Word of Honor down in China and I have no idea what's going to happen to all the people that paid for the concert and episode 37 now that they've deleted those too. Personally, I think people should hold Youku legally accountable for this because the money people spent on extra content are unfairly being tossed down the drain and I heard that the concert was supposed to be accessible for 10 years anyway so taking it down is a violation of that stipulation.
I made a prediction that the comments section for this show will reach 10,000 before it even comes out, but I didn't anticipate it happening THIS fast. I was lurking around here when it had 5000+ comments just two weeks ago and now it blew up! My birthday is on the 25th next week so fingers crossed they drop the first episode as a birthday present. <33
