I don't know how Tor and JJ are doing it, but their chemistry is so electrifying. I felt more romance in Kan and Wasan's scene where they were in bed snuggling than some of the other full length romance dramas out there. I'm totally immersed in the plot and completely invested in them as the main couple too.
One31 has finally subbed all 5 episodes in English on their official Youtube channel. I highly recommend checking them out because the show is amazing!!
The way Dr. Kan desperately searched for his pen 😍The way Wasan said 'next year'🤗ONLY 8 EPISODES???!!! HOOOOWWWW!!?!…
RIGHT?? This show deserves 22 episodes like we used to have with our American dramas. It's that good! Or we can at least have a sequel like 4 Minutes (another Dr. Sammon epic) is getting. I need to see Captain Wasan and Dr. Kan's married life lol. They're so adorably in love even though they're going through so much angst right now. T_T
I keep coming back to this because it's one of those dramas where you just had to be there when it was airing. I would stay up 4 am PST here in Los Angeles eagerly awaiting a new episode and we would go nuts on Youtube livechat every day it was on. The chemistry between Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan was SO good that even though explicit romantic affection between two men can't be shown on national TV in China, Chinese netizens still understood that Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing were a romantic couple. There were also glaringly obvious budgetary constraints, but the producers knew how to allocate the budget wisely. They really don't make C-dramas like this anymore imo.
The love I have for this show continues to grow. I find myself seated for each scene and the budding romance between Dr. Kan and Captain Wasan is getting more intense. JJ and Tor are acting the hell out of their roles and their chemistry is absolutely phenomenal. This is without a doubt shaping up to be my favorite Thai drama of the year.
This is actually so good. The first episode sets up the rest of the series nicely and the tension between Thiu and Dr. Kan is simply sublime. As an Oncology nurse myself, I find the show incredibly riveting and relatable. There are only 3 episodes so far, but each one has me on tenterhooks!
Ok I heard that in the novel, Peem and Phum have the toughest path to love and they're the angstiest couple out of all the couples, but right now they're the most romantic couple to me. You can actually pinpoint the moment Peem fell in love with Phum in episode 5 and Pond and Phuwin's chemistry is just magical.
Haha, thats why they are the MAIN couple in the series. If the director wasnt even able to make the clear to viewers…
I usually go for the tragic couples in movies/shows, but Peem and Phum's dynamic has the potential to be the sweetest and most romantic. They're definitely living up to their main couple status even if it seems like a lot of people here on MDL are rooting against them.
Currently in episode 16.Just wondering does Fu Fong have a happy ending with a girl or not.Or the dude has no…
In the novel, his canon love interest from the beginning to the end was Mo Fang. In fact, he went insane with grief over Mo Fang's death, nearly blew himself up with immensely powerful spiritual energy, destroyed his mansion, and the color of the plants in his yard got washed out because of how pure his powers are. He also transforms into a more serious and withdrawn person who wears simpler clothes after he loses him.
Peem and Phum, I feel, have the strongest chemistry out of all the couples and they give me butterflies in my stomach every time they have a romantic moment. I know there are three other couples with them, but they definitely feel like *the* foremost main couple of the show.
I might be in the minority, but Peem and Phum already have my heart and soul. They're so hilarious and precious. The part where the kid selling flowers tells Phum that he should buy the flowers for his boyfriend was my favorite LOL.
Peem and Phum's story is taking me out because it starts off with Peem kicking Phum in the balls and throwing his slipper at him, but I'm sure their love story will be very sweet later on. Pond and Phuwin's chemistry is already so good on the show. <3
I remember when this show came on that everyone was pretty much annoyed by Fu Rongjun, but deep down I knew he was gonna have the biggest character development in the series. After 39 episodes, my boy became a favorite and had an incredible growth arc. I love how He Yu understood his character deeply and it's clear that he also integrated the novel version of the character in his own way.
Very. It's censored romance as are all danmei/Boys' Love adaptations in China, but the love between Ruan Nanzhu and Ling Jiushi is unmistakably romantic.
And I have screenshots of passages in the novel where Mo Fang finds himself blushing around Fu Rongjun, thinking of him as being beautiful, going on dates with him, and there's a moment where he asks himself why his heart feels inexplicably empty without Fu Rong.
