The actress (loose term) that plays Dujado is sooooooo bad. Just what is the purpose of her role? And where does…
I don't think she's that bad. In her past life, at least in the novel, she was the one who pleaded for Prince Wansarut/Tharn's life to be spared and prevented him from being killed by Sakuna-Napharut/Phaya, the Garuda Prince, and his older brother Sakuna-Ticharut, the Garuda King. She's the reason why Wansarut hadn't died earlier.

How?Just like how?Few hours after being resuscitated, Phaya gets up, leaves the hospital undetected and goes down…
I don't know how people missed the part where Phaya was having dreams about his past life with Tharn and them dying in it immediately before that scene? It's also implied that when he showed up at Tharn's apartment, he was talking as Prince Sakuna-Napharut. Their memories have merged so I personally interpreted that as him remembering his promise to Prince Wansarut thousands of years ago and wanting to hold on to him forever.

As for the CGI, it's better than some recent Hollywood productions I've seen. I think it's great, especially for a Thai drama. I've seen other non-BL Thai dramas about the Naga and the Garuda and the CGI is not up to par with this one imo. This scene definitely didn't look cartoonish to me.

Yeah, I remember people complaining about how long the episodes are, but now they're complaining that episode 9 was too short? Personally, the show needs more episodes or a season 2 because there are only three weeks left and there's still a ton of plot to cover.

yes, is a drama and it's bl. bl is a genre like any other. i don't understand why some of you say things like…
I'm not trying to say BL is inferior to any other kind of drama. I'm saying that this show's quality is amazing for all dramas in general.

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that this show is pushing the limits of what a Boys' Love drama can achieve when love, commitment, and high production values back it up. It's not just a BL drama, it's a high quality drama PERIOD. At its 9th episode, the rating for The Sign should already be at least at a 9. The stakes have gotten higher, the plot is getting more intense with each episode, and the CGI is practically Hollywood quality! Billy and Babe's chemistry also continues to be GOD TIER levels of insane. If there's an onscreen couple that can convincingly portray a millennia old love story between two soulmates, it's them.

Babe is just amazing!!! He could make me cry just from pictures and I don't know how we're surviving today's episode.…
Seriously. This episode has PAIN written all over it and Tharn's tears are just making it so much worse. He deserves a happy ending with the man he loves. T_T

I think Tharn and Phaya will eventually have a happy ending, but the director hinted at a possible season 2 so it got me thinking that they might've gone with some kind of open ending for this season.

While I would love to watch an entire series about how Prince Wansarut and Prince Sakuna-Napharut fell deeply in love with each other, I think there are obvious budgetary and time constraints preventing the cast and crew from showing more of their story.

The lyrics are devastating. :( It's literally about Tharn's grief and sorrow over having to love Phaya from afar and wanting to disappear to keep him safe knowing that he can never truly be with him.

Still thinking about how the saddest part of Prince Wansarut and Prince Sakuna-Napharut's tragic love story is that their love never really gets fulfilled across every single one of their lifetimes together because the Garuda and the Naga are sworn enemies so they committed a crime against the natural order by being together. Their reincarnation as Tharn and Phaya in the present timeline is the only chance they have left of finally fulfilling their love. 😭

According to Billy, they've had 4 lifetimes together.
The highest rated Boys' Love drama on MDL and for good reason. Every episode will have you bawling like a baby and then squeeze your heart tightly. Khun Yai and Jom's romance is god tier and the only other romance that rivals it is the epic, star-crossed romance between Tharn and Phaya from The Sign imo. I hope it gets a season 2 because it deserves to have its story fully told.

Toning down the mythology of this show would be stripping the essence of the entire story. It's not possible and…
This is an adaptation and the director clearly has a different vision for the show than the novel. I've read bits and pieces of the novel and there are elements that they kept intact. Like the war between King Ticharut and Chalothorn, Wansarat's vow to protect Prince Napharut in every lifetime, and the ongoing case with Montree. The point is that the mythology is every bit as important as the investigation element because its central to Tharn and Phaya's tragic and ill-fated ancient love story.

Gonna have to disagree with you. If you'd like, you're welcome to watch another show because they're not going to compromise the storyline's integrity just to cater to someone else's demand.

Toning down the mythology of this show would be stripping the essence of the entire story. It's not possible and imo it's actually the most interesting aspect of the show considering that no other Boys' Love drama is integrating Thai mythology so heavily into its story the way The Sign has.

I just want to reiterate that Tharn and Phaya's epic and all-consuming love story could've fallen flat in the hands of lesser actors, but Billy and Babe are absolutely SLAYING these roles and their off the charts INSANE!! chemistry is making the romance so much more emotionally impactful as a result. Like, you can actually feel Prince Sakuna's indignance and defiance when he told Chalothorn that he had no right to put a boundary on his love for Tharn/Wansa and Tharn/Wansa's pain and regret over losing the man he loves with his entire soul.

Everyone here is in love with the myth part so I'll probably be eaten, but it was boring for me. . I willingly…
See, this is an interesting view because I think the mythology part is what's setting the series apart from other Boys' Love dramas to the point where it just feels like you're watching an incredibly made drama. The intensity and lore raises the stakes for Tharn and Phaya's forbidden and ancient love that much higher.

Can we just hand over the award for best drama of 2024 to this show? Seriously, the whole sequence where Tharn/Wansa sacrifices himself to save Phaya/Prince Sakuna from Chalothorn's wrath was INSANE. The CG is just absolutely stunning in this episode, especially when the Golden Naga was battling with a legion of Garuda. It's almost like watching some epic, Hollywood production only that it showcases the regal beauty of Thai mythology and culture.

The Sign Worship Naga was fantastic. Babe in the costume, doing the traditional dance, literally stole my breath…
Yeah, Babe's beauty is just mesmerizing and ethereal. Someone mentioned that he's like an enchantress. No wonder they have him playing a Naga prince worthy of being fought over by the Garuda King and the Naga King lol.
