Is this worth watching? I really liked the Untamed, although I have to admit that I kinda struggled with it in the first 10 episodes, so I wondered if this drama will suit my taste.
ugh already talking about CEW lol he might not even be considered or considering lol
It's not that I want him casted, I'm just saying that he might get casted. Like the character is a cold brooding guy who only gets soft for the FL and that seems to be a typecast for CEW.
Revenge is a fool's game that truly knows no end but in case of Penthouse, I love watching it. It creates satisfactions at times when the antagonists suffer since their characters are so relentlessly bad. Honestly, I can tell they will repeat deaths and revenge plots in this season too but I'm actually all for it. I can't wait to see the asshole characters fall to doom.
Yes, based on Jo dan tae's reaction I definitely don't think the fallen girl is Seok Kyung. No matter how weird…
Joo Dan Tae is totally not capable of feeling emotions. His character is basically written as a sociopath. But yes, I don't think it is Seok Kyung because her death won't have much contribution to the plot.
About Yoon Hee and Dr Ha ... You forget very quickly what happened in the past, it is not possible ... In the…
Yoon Hee and Ha Yoon Chul aren't exactly together. They did mention something like a 'contract' where they're only pretending to enact the project, with which I'm sure Logan has something to do. I personally watch this show without taking it too deeply and seriously since that way this drama turns out to be actually entertaining. But, to each their own I guess.
I think this season will be Cheon Seo Jin's downfall. I can smell it coming, and the first 2 eps really had her with the constant mental breakdowns and the fact that she might lose her voice. I can't wait to see that happen lol. I think the new housekeeper of Cheon Seo Jin is up to something. She doesn't seem like an ordinary character at all. I hope it's a character we can support. Also, Ha Eun Byeol is hiding something big. Do y'all think it's just a boyfriend or something else?
Park is like one of the most popular Korean surnames. Or do you mean it was meant for another actress with the…
The accuser had previously stated that an actress in a certain high school with the same surname was a bully. Park Hye Soo went to the same school, so people misunderstood her.
The main accuser had given a statement later that their post was meant for another actress with the same surname. It sucks that Park Hye Soo's reputation just got pointlessly stained over some misunderstanding. And, obviously Dear.M shouldn't be cancelled.
I hate this new poster lol. The actors look so distant from one another, it makes the drama seem very uninteresting. The previous one was MILES better.
I'm in the minority and I really don't want Jo Jo to end up with Sun Oh. I get why most viewers like him more and I admit he's cute and all, but damn he's cheesy af. He's cool for a high school romance but as adults, he is anything but mature. Even in the last episodes of 1st season, he was literally the same. I hope the show pulls a 'My First First Love' move and let the 2nd male lead get the FL.
But then again, it'd be bigger of a twist if Jo Jo ended up with neither. Now that'd change K-drama love triangles forever XD
I'm really looking forward to this! Although I haven't seen any previous projects of both director and writer, I love Nana's acting and the main leads seem like they'd have great chemistry. I hope it reaches my expectations.
I can tell the writers gave a lot of effort when trying to come up with an ending. The ending for this story was unpredictable from the get-go, and a perfect ending seemed hard to imagine. So, I feel like this ending was definitely the best anyone could come up with. If they had a sad ending, like some viewers are saying that a sad ending would've been better, I'm sure many viewers would have been pissed like what happened in Scarlet Heart. In the end, this was possibly the best ending for this story although bits of it leaves us a little unsatisfied when we think about it deeply. In conclusion, this is the kind of drama which I knew would have a hit-or-miss ending and wouldn't be able to satisfy all viewers equally in any way. I never really care much for endings, so I personally loved this drama to bits and it'll be hard for another 2021 drama to top this in my list :)
Is ep 16 or ep 17 the last episode?Need to know cuz planning to binge the last 2/3 episodes together...Thanks…
episode 16 is apparently the last episode for this season 'My Lovable Camera Thief' and episode 17 is going to be a preview of the story in next season. I could be inaccurate but everyone else is guessing the same thing.
I'm surprised to see all the comments disliking Lee Eun Oh's character! Honestly, at some level, I was able to relate to her issues. Yes, she is selfish and I can agree but that makes her an intricate and realistic character. She was scared and insecure about herself, aren't many of us like that too? Deep down, most of us have insecurities. Some have learned to embrace them, while some haven't and they struggle to embrace them. Lee Eun Oh was insecure about her true self, and she was scared about what others would think about her decisions. This side of her is something I truly related to, and it's refreshing to have characters with realistic dimensions and problems in a K-drama.
Anyways, I think this drama is definitely underrated. While I don't consider this to be one of my favorites, it's definitely slept upon and that is quite unexpected regarding its cast. Lovestruck in The City is definitely not a drama that every K-drama watcher would like due to its fairly unique set-up and storyline, but it still deserves more love than it's getting.
Yet another overhyped teen romance that decided to focus more on a stupid love triangle angst rather than the actual message it was supposed to convey from the beginning. True Beauty was like an endless pool of cliches, and not even in a good way. Yes, the comedy was top-notch but the rest was anything but original, and I really wished maybe the drama version would be more different and well-written compared to the webtoon, but it failed to do so. The FML character highkey sucked, and a total waste of MGY's talent.
The only great thing we discovered from this drama is Han Seo Jun/Hwang In Yeop, other than that, this drama is a waste of time. And before any of you come to bite me, this is just my opinion.
Great article! I agree with most of them, except for the Fight For My Way 2nd couple. I personally found them uninteresting and had skipped most of their scenes. I see that High Society mostly has bad reviews under it but as you're saying the 2nd couple's good and PHS is in it, I'm thinking about watching it for a little time pass. Thanks!
