Waah this is honestly the only mega popular k-drama I failed to watch. Couldn't get past the first 30 minutes of the 1st ep. Every character seems to be so cliched and cheesy, and for some reason it feels like everyone's acting is bad although I love many of these actors. It could be the vibe, but I hate to think such a stellar cast was wasted behind a story like this geez.
Because of pathetic and looser and piece of crap LJH, I won't be able to watch GG1979. I know it may sound illogical,…
Yes, I’ve known what the actor did after having watched the drama and that made me real pissed. However, it’s definitely worth watching due to the rest of the cast’s efforts :)
This drama doesn't hook you or addict you, and I think watching this while it's still airing is a pretty good decision. It's like a glass of something sweet, cold and refreshing-- if that makes sense but yeah, I'm liking it. I also adore the chemistry among the cast. I've lost count of the amount of kisses the main couple did, and that as a fact is something I love lmao.
I was initially not planning on watching season 2 as I mentioned in my review, but damn, the season 2 preview looks really tempting lmao I'd love to watch Seo Jin go down that way haha
I partially decided to give up on Thai BLs since recently they all seem to follow the same college/engineer/homophobic stuff but this gives a pretty different exciting aura. The action, acting and mostly, the production quality seems legit. Loved the use of neon lights or club like lighting throughout the cinematography alongside the upbeat 'not-made-with-garage-band' music. And as for the romance aspect, loving the sensual and mature vibes ( ¬‿¬ ). Really hoping this lives up to the hype!
I'm currently on episode 3 and this drama is stress x100. Every character is f*cked up (sorry for the language but I couldn't hold it in), and this show hurts.
Well, it's rare for kdramas to be of 10 eps if it isn't a web drama, but yeah, 16 episodes seem like too much of a stretch for a plot like this. Hope there's more to it than the what the summary suggests, though.
I just watched the 1st ep and ngl, it was def entertaining. I enjoyed how it’s so over-the-top and exaggerating, that it surely made me laugh out loud at times. Every character seems to be effed up in their own ways, and I have to admit, I love that too. I think the screenwriter is making this overly dramatic for the very purpose of making it somehow satirical? But then again, that’s what makes a makjang drama. I’m totally looking forward to watch the next eps.
The posters are all gorgeous. The latest one with the confetti also looks breathtaking. I'm seriously hoping this drama will turn out to be good and not a dragged out disappointing wreck. I'd have a rather good feeling about how this drama would turn out only if it had 12 episodes but 16 episodes give me obnoxious feelings...
The 2nd episode was much better, in my opinion. The interview style didn't feel confusing anymore, and the pacing is definitely improved. Since it's a web drama, many things aren't following the usual K-drama formula like the romance pacing and I can't say I totally like that fact but I'd rather say that it's nice to see a bit of change. Looking forward to see what will happen when the two main characters meet again an year after their fling!
I hate how everyone watching this drama is only admiring and thirsting over how good-looking the two MLs are, but I'm out here being the only one simping for Moon Ga Young. She's such a cutie, and her voice or the way she talks is just adorable.

It hurts, but I like the pain.
