For some reason I'm not too excited about this season so I'll binge watch towards the end.

Watching this each week before going to bed felt like therapy for my soul. A must watch for anybody that needs a break from their complex daily lives & wants a simple, wholesome story of love between a man and his cat.

With a J drama you can't be sure whether they'll even end up together lol
Not a problem with me because I wasn't here for the romance..

I think they'll only get together in the finale (if they do) because this seems to be more about the FL's growth than the romance.

This sounds just like an old J drama.. can't remember the name.

You should also check out Mi Wo Tsukushi Ryoricho. Another slice of life drama featuring food. The FL also teaches you how to cook each dish at the end of each episode :)

THANK YOU for this article. I've seen very few slice of life dramas from countries other than Japan, who for me are the champions of the slice of life genre. I will definitely check the Korean ones you recommended.

HAHAHAHAAHA I am glad I am not the only one who was annoyed by it. I felt like smacking him in the finale lol.

I don't know if it's Kuroki Haru or the characters she plays (or both) but there's always this sincerity about her characters that make you want to root for her. This was no exception. As always, I loved her character so much. What a heartwarming and feel good drama. Highly recommended!

I understand only 10% haha so I didn't bother watching it raw. Even without watching it, I am sure it must be good. Japanese are best at slice of life & presenting real emotions.

Yeah maybe she's a good actress. Afterall my opinion is only based on 1 drama.

I heard a lot of negative feedback about Memories of the Alhambra so I didn't watch it (even though I've seen most of Park Shin Hye & Hyun Bin's works).. now I feel tempted to check it out.
