Agree on Ouji but I love Kubota Sayu in this hairstyle. I've seen her with worse hairstyles lol.
Yeah that was during the initial episodes.. but I know many people liked it. It was a decent romcom with nice characters but I felt that it had the potential to be more

Yes watch the spin off! It's better than the drama LOL Watch that. It's been subbed by the same subber :)
To be honest it's not like the main drama was bad but it's just that the first few episodes were so good everybody had high expectations. The second half was a let down.
Curious.. what would have been an ideal ending for you? And what were you disappointed by?
Thank you for your reply, it's always nice to hear another POV :)
The video wasn't just deleted. The phone was flushed into the toilet bowl for hours before the police found it. I am no technology expert so I don't know which one of us is right. The video was only recovered by Nitta after Mochizuki had proven that Hidaka wasn't the criminal. It was Nitta's negligence to let it be & interpret it as romantic, rather than make the authorities aware. The rest of the team wasn't informed of the deleted video. Only Nitta & his assistant knew. So it wasn't a cop out per se, rather it was a team member's negligence that happens sometimes. Again I've seen things like that happen first hand.
While Mochizuki did attempt to hide the evidence, she never actually got hold of it. Riku got hold of it & hid in the apartment under Mochizuki's bed. I do get your point that she deserved punishment of some level, I disagree that she deserved jail time. It's not like she didn't reap any consequences, she was demoted at work & would not be able to participate in investigations any more. She was sent away to the academy, away from the investigations unit. That was fair enough. At least to me.
It's also important to note that they had swapped bodies & with that, Hidaka manipulated her to work with him. She had little choice but to do so. She even tried to work against him but he attempted to kill her by consuming the nuts that would have poisoned her in the earlier episodes. Her intention was never to hide or to go against her duties as an officer.
Personally for me had the show punished her I would not really be happy. And it's not because I am simple minded but because it was interesting. I found it interesting how she had Sekuhara & the rest of them fooled. This is afterall not a show that was focused on justice or duty towards the police. It was a show that was focusing on the body swap & mystery. The title is a give away 'heaven & hell: two psychos" & the ending I think makes the writer's intention very clear in that they would continue to take advantage of the body swap for their own benefits. There are definitely way more real & darker J dramas out there that I have enjoyed as well (so it's not to say that I enjoyed this for its "happy" ending)
Exactly my thoughts! but I don't remember Kitagawa Keiko starring in any RomCom before... except for maybe Dokushin…
I finally watched Ie Uru Onna a few weeks back!! So hilarious & heartwarming. And I didn't think the drama gods would grant my wish of seeing Kitagawa Keiko in a romcom so soon. That too with Eita, that's an icing on the cake. So hyped up for this! Seriously the April line up of dramas look so damn good. All the phenomenal actors are coming on screen at the same time. I've already saved at least 10 of them to watch :)
E9. I was laughing and crying at the same time. The way they kept talking about girls to get his heart rate up and then they became emotional & started telling him how they felt. Silly & endearing at the same time. Seriously what's with this show & all the fantastic J dramas this season.. I am an emotional mess.
That ending with them chanting together. I wish I had the opportunity to do that for my grandparents who passed away without hearing my thoughts :(
I think you will definitely enjoy Tiger & Dragon too if you haven’t seen it yet. Must watch!! :)
Thank you! I realised I watched the 1st episode years back but forgot about it because I was waiting for the subs lol Will go back and finish it, I remember liking it a lot

Spoiler tag please.
That video was Hidaka in Mochizuki's body. He did serve jail time and pay for his part of the crimes by corroborating with Azuma.
I don't think Mochizuki deserved any punishment she didn't assist in the crimes or try to cover up his crimes by tampering with evidence. This is my opinion. We can agree to disagree on this :)
The video was recovered but it was damaged with only the audio working slightly & the audio with 'I am you, and you are me' was interpreted by Nitta as romantic. I work on court cases so I have experienced many instances when videos that were restored were already damaged. So that particular aspect is definitely not unrealistic.
Lol the ending, seems like a flex that the actors can just act out the different personalities at will hahaBut…
I actually like that the show didn't give time to develop their "love" because it was never meant to be a love story. Neither of them even confessed outrightly so it made me wonder was it just concern or was it love? Were we all reading too much into it? I liked the ending with the switch. Regardless of their feelings, one thing is that they are bound to each other. "You are me, and I am you" Different people but bound to each other by one thing (like the sun/moon)
Sekuhara definitely didn't become nice. When he realised that Hidaka was lying to save Mochizuki & his brother, Sekuhara became jealous & irritated by Hidaka's innate goodness. That in the end forced him to hand it over to Mochizuki. So he didn't actually become nice. He lost to Hidaka's goodness. That is the way I saw it. (It's human psychology when you're confronted with someone really really nice, you don't feel like harming them & your defences weaken infront of them)
anyway do u think kawahara, nitta n the chief know about switching body?? bcoz i think the only reason nitta modified…
No, they don't know. Kawahara was jealous & angry over the fact that Hidaka loved Mochizuki so much that he was lying to protect her. He couldn't take the goodness that Hidaka displayed.
Nitta restored the video but it was already damaged. When he heard the recording, the voice over was 'I am you, and you are me' . Just like Kawahara interpreted Hidaka's actions as love, Nitta interpreted Mochizuki's dialogue as her love for Hidaka. Nitta's observation was interesting because it took that dialogue to another level (almost like the show telling us that it was inevitable that they would fall in love given the body swap)
The chef. Can't say much because that wasn't explored. But going by his reactions when he heard Riku & Mochizuki (in Hidaka's body)'s conversation, you can tell that he was aware that there was something fishy going on. In the end he wasn't even a minor character so doesn't really matter what he understood.
Watch that. It's been subbed by the same subber :)
