Did you enjoy the Korean version? I couldn't get into it because I found it too melodramatic. Ended up dropping it. But Shitteru Waifu is just FANTASTIC, like it is contemplative & so real.
This must be like seriously the best season for J dramas ever because I'm watching more than 10 right now & struggling to keep up.
TRUST ME - it is as bad as other people are saying. There is no plot or character development whatsoever, the…

I have no issue with the bed scenes/steamy scenes. The issue I have is the way it is just so creepy (both writing and acting *cringe*)
The ML and SML touch the FL without her consent & all she can say is 'what should I do' like are you freaking kidding me?! Either she enjoys it (which is ok with me) or hates it and should ask them to back off.. what are the writers trying to show with her stuck between 2 men like that? It's like she is a doll with no autonomy at all. In this day and age with so many women fighting against harrassment & rape, this drama appears to be romanticizing this creepy relationship.
I am not against anyone enjoying this (though I would love to know why anyone enjoys this). But I had to comment that I find it repulsive.
E7. The banter between the nurse, surgeon & Masora is DELIGHTFUL, as always. This is why I love Japanese dramas so much. They take so little & give you so much in return. It's such an enriching experience, from the random conversations to the real emotions that just overflow..
Doctor wants to make a profit out of the vaccines. He will kill these people, and then heal them. Become a hero…
Hmm... you are right but I also feel that his motive isn't as pure as merely wanting to protect the person in the freezer. He just looks plain evil to me.. but then you never know with J dramas. They always manage to humanize even the most evil of people & doc might be no exception. Let's see how this goes..
Seems like they're romantic interests in this one (I hope not though)
Nope, it's very much possible. My current fav airing drama (Uchi No Musume..) has a pairing (they don't get a lot of screentime) where the girl is like in her early 20s & the man is 70+ and the even weirder thing is that the show is so progressively & sensitively written that I don't mind it.
RE: this drama - I haven't seen it so I don't know if they are romantic interests or not. The description/plot summary doesn't give away much either.
E3. Best episode so far! And yes, I can officially say that I'm in love with this & the FL so so much. Despite…
Can I say that I absolutely LOVED how she enjoyed herself when Naru couldn't show up for the date. She was happy for other couples out on date, rather than lamenting about her own situation.
Also, Naru couldn't see her with another guy friend but is all comfy with his childhood friend. The double standards that so many people have.. sigh, and the worst is when they don't even realise it. I am so glad that she called him out for it & didn't bottle up her emotions for long. I hate that she apologized later on but she also acknowledged her fears, which made me empathise with her and appreciate her. She puts in her effort, but doesn't just give. She expects to receive, and communicates that.
Hopefully she will soon realise that she doesn't need to give up her male friends (or any friends) for her boyfriend, and will make it up to Tenyu who she shut off. He too, doesn't need to cut off his childhood friend if he can trust her & respect her relationship with other guys. Of course, it's easier said than done..
I related with Naru's 'being nice' talk so much. There are many of us who are nice, not because we are truly nice, but because we don't want to be hated by anyone. We just want to do the right things, and lead an ordinary life.
Special mention for the panel discussing the relationship issues, great mix of humour & wit. Loved it!! Hopefully we'll get to see more of them :)
I had no idea this was being subbed, thanks for letting me know :)

This one is fantastic. I'm really loving this. I dropped the Korean one too.
