Urgh it really angers me that Mokomi's family constantly downplay her talent & limit her potential. I want her to move out of that house & flower shop so bad. Regardless of what Grandpa did in the past, I appreciate that he listens to her & appreciates her.
I just saw E2. I'm enjoying this! So far it's not your cliched love story / love triangle or even makeover kind of drama. Preview for E3 looks intense.
can someone recommend good japanese high school dramas?? need to watch something while waiting for the next episodes…

I re-watched this recently after years, and my love for this has only grown. Maybe because I was too young & immature back then to understand the nuances, complexity & fragility of human emotion that this drama presented that it was merely good for me. But now, I say that this was BRILLIANT.
I think this is the first long drama I have seen that was filmed almost entirely inside a house with very little outings. You would think that would make it boring, and you'll be proven so wrong. They really were able to make use of different spaces in the house, well thought out frames & shots, and just create an environment that felt like home in that they clearly lived there (while they were questioning their sense of belonging to that very house). Watching them made me feel claustrophobic at so many times (yet I identified with it so strongly) that I had to go on a walk & breathe some fresh air when I finished this.
The plot was very original & this was way ahead of its time with its thought provoking script & dialogue. The dynamics between the characters, the despair and turmoil they felt, the stuffiness of just living in that house, the identity crisis, the loneliness, the heartbreak they felt (in different ways for different characters) was presented in such a layered & complex way. It really hit me deep & at points, made me feel depressed.
It is not without its flaws, but it is one of those dramas that I will never forget.
Man, the first episode really made me want to make a bath bomb for myself even though I'm not much of a fancy shower person. I legit shower in less than 5 minutes lol.
Am I the only one who constantly comes back to this drama whenever I want to watch something that is romantic in a real way? The way Qi Luo & Chen Ling are drawn to each other & the way they heal each other is so REAL & TENDER it gives me butterflies no matter how many times I watch this.
omg, you watched Someday or One Day too? you really have great taste in dramas!
Yeah check out some of the older Taiwanese dramas. They're great. Check out these two especially (1) Mars (2) The Rose - they're absolutely brilliant!
Not really J dramas were never really popular IMO. And it's so sad, because they easily produce the best content (at least for me). Also please watch the older J dramas. I've been on a spree of watching older J dramas lately & they're just a class apart.
