A rare Cdrama that I liked. I can't get past an episode or two for 99% of them. This was an exception. The production value, direction, OST and acting was decent. There was nothing about this that I disliked, which is very rare. The leads were adorable, and equally competent. The side characters were pleasing to watch as well. All the couples had chemistry. In short, I enjoyed this from start to end.
I cannot with the infidelity with a much, much younger guy. Yes, Motoharu is super annoying, self-centred and…
So far, they have only hinted at it but haven't actually shown it. So I can't hold her responsible yet. (I dropped the K version early on so I don't know how things progressed)
I know there are always comments saying this on every drama, but I *really* don't understand why the rating is…
J drama ratings on this site is always low. For a J drama fan on this site 7.9 is a decent rating. There are dramas that deserve nothing less than 9 which are rated 7+ or even lower. I have stopped looking at ratings for J dramas honestly.
except that winter jdramas this year has several dramas with great casts, interesting plots, variety in genre
I always see your comments on some of the more average/subpar J dramas saying the same things about how they're no longer good etc. Why not watch the good ones instead? I am currently watching many ongoing J dramas & they are all fantastic (in terms of writing & acting)! Check them out.
- Tengoku to Jigoku: Psychona futari - Uchi no Musume wa, Kareshi ga Dekinai! - Kimi to Sekai ga Owaru Hi ni - Mokomi - Ojisama to Neko - Kakenai!?: - Nijiiro Karute - Shitteru Waifu - Oh! My Boss! - Ore no Ie no Hanashi - Koko wa Ima kara Rinri desu
URGHHHH so much for wanting to do a better job in this life. He should let Mio be, and focus on Sayaka. Also, why lie to Sayaka?
To be fair to the ML, I despite what Sayaka did. She didn't listen to him, didn't believe him, and decided to act out on her anger in the most despicable way. I would totally understand if their relationship falls apart after this.
Episode 4...what a development. By the way this drama can definetely be classified as comedy by now right? When…
Yes that declaration took me by surprise. And I completely agree that this is a transformative experience (in different ways) for both of them. That declaration & the way Hidaka looked at Mochizuki made me wonder whether the 2 of them have a connection which Mochizuki is unaware of.
Also roomie's comment about the killing & arresting was eerily accurate. I wonder if Hidaka does have a dual personality of some sort. He didn't seem to be faking his kindness to his employees or sister, which is why they love him so much. And the lack of motive for murders... it's weird?
They got Kawahara GOOOOOD, and that ending scene was unexpected. I wonder if they have some connection from the past which Mochizuki seems to be unaware of.
This show just keeps getting better & better. I love it so much. The writing, acting, direction.. everything is freaking brilliant! The wait for each episode is hard. I can't predict where this is going to go.
Neechan No Koibito would be a perfect fit. Give it a try! I will recommend more if you like it.
Opposite for me HAHA. I pretty much stopped watching K dramas (Run On was the first I watched after years). I've completely moved to watching J dramas.
Also this season has some fantastic J dramas. I am currently watching 12 ongoing J dramas!! (HELP MEEE)
I don't think anything was 'solved' other than the ML being able to face his ex. The struggles were still very…
I see what you mean. In fact all the things you mentioned are the very reasons I loved it. I appreciated that it wasn't complicated, esp after all the dark & heartbreaking J dramas I've seen. This was just PERFECT for me in that it never got too dark, & yet it wasn't exactly tackling the lightest issues.
Also I don't think the relationship between the siblings was too good to be true, and the last episode especially showed me exactly why. They put in effort & care into the relationship through which they were able to form a comfortable space to share worries without judging and criticising.
The parole office did not approve of the relationship but eventually came around because he cared for the leads and saw that they were both struggling in life & could heal each other.
RE: the boss - yes that was one cliched story for sure.

I love that Japan keeps its tradition of having a cat/human drama each year :)

Can't wait for E7.

Does anyone think that Hidaka might have an accomplice that has some connection with roomie?
