This drama takes me back to simpler times when the idea of falling in love was pink, fairytale-ish, and all about drowning in the other person's eyes, with some pettiness on the side. Like a teen me could picture all those effects floating at the top of my head like a cloud HAHA All the characters are teens in adult bodies. You can't tell me otherwise. LOL. The cast and crew must have had so much fun filming this. This drama is such a riot.
I freaking loved this multi-genre movie. It hit all the right spots with the comedy, the heartwarming romance, and the detective-yakuza story. There wasn't a single dull moment. Tsutsumi Shinichi was so charming. Highly recommend this entertaining movie :)

4 episodes in, it is so calm and intense at the same time LOL I'm loving all the characters, both the nice and dodgey ones. Everybody feels so real like I actually believe they're all doctors, and are real people breathing and going through those feelings. The writing is absolutely stellar. Also, shipping Sanpei and Miyabi <3
Finally caught up with this show, and the first 2 episodes were fantastic! It is so inspiring, beautiful and intriguing. The understated acting by all, the layered characters, the meticulous writing, the OST, the direction - it's all perfect! I am in LOVE! No where did I state this is an objective lesbian film. It isn't. It is a drama primarily about mental health, not sexuality. And yes, what you're saying could also be true. But like I said in my comment, "I think" that her dominant personality was lesbian. It's purely my interpretation. While she did feel attracted to the friend when she believed herself to be Isao, I do think she disassociated and wanted to become Isao because it would then be normal for her to express her sexuality. I don't remember the exact details as I watched it a few months back but that's what I thought. But yeah my interpretation might not be what the writer intended. We never know... haha. That's the beauty of this drama.
It's on my list! I want to start it but not sure about 24 episodes though.
I'd say give it 1-2 episodes and see if it's for you. I've seen 10 episodes so far and there isn't much plot but it's a fun and silly drama that has me hooked.
