Watched Who Were We? today and liked it. I wouldn't say it's one of my favorite movies now but I don't understand the low score it got on here. Maybe people were annoyed by how slow the scenes unfolded at times? What gives?
Okay I did watch this. Apparently it does have a 1h 37m runtime. It's abstract but you get the point easily by the end. Thought provoking and swift sometimes but so slow other times.

Yeah, it was the sexism. Though I understand it's from 25 years ago. I recommended it to people in the main public feeds as well. You're right, Three Sisters was worse.
Can't wait for the next line up. Now I have finished 3 movies today. Only the two documentaries are left. I believe there are 6 actual movies and the rest are videos up until no. 49, right? There are 49 entries on the website. In any case, very nice find! I'm happy to watch Japanese movies that are a bit rare to find (and legally too)!
