Very few dramas are ranked 9 or above, it's so easy to check that I don't understand why you wrote that just to discredit members' ratings of other dramas. It also seems people need to review their statistics college books, since the most basic lesson is that the higher the number of votes, the lower the average and mean.
This is only my opinion, not to open for attacks or discussion because you know, it's all about tastes. But I worry that the popularity of LR would inspire more scripts like this, where the FL rejects the ML all the time, hurts him, lies to him continuously, just because she loves him so much. And for years when she left him in the past. What a script. If it had been the ML, the rating would have been much lower and the rants endless. I gave it 7 only for the good acting, while I gave 5 to MMH for the opposite (overacting galore) among other flaws. As to QoT, I just can't give less than a 7 to a drama with Kim Soo Hyun in it because he's one of my top actors, but really, that drama was a mess. Thankfully I finished some dramas that made me very happy, during the several times i put these 3 on hold.
The current rating of 8 for this drama, is the reason why so many people don't trust MDL ratings, and get help from ratings in other sites like imdb, douban, namu and so on.
It is absurd that this drama has the same or higher rating than much better dramas (script, directing, acting) many of them highly awarded:

Overacting galore as usual for Thai dramas, except the ML who acted very good. It's more of a 6, but I gave it 7 because it was entertaining when i needed a brake from other dramas. I used 1.25 video speed in almost every episode (you know, those long closeup Thai camera shoots lol)
I don't like his hair style in those wedding pictures ðŸ˜
In my opinion, there's no hair style that suits him, he has that kind of thin face, not even a slightly square jaw, which makes it difficult to make it look attractive. I repeat: I'm stating my opinion, which is not open for discussion, you know what they say about personal tastes lol
