I won't read comments or reviews, I'll watch this drama even if the rating is low. I fell in love with the acting of Wang Xing Yue in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love and in YSMD, a very promising young actor. After some 2024 highly rated dramas that let me down, at least with him I'll enjoy both his acting and his beauty lol.

Is this a 'book'' in a drama due to the time travel censorship? I dislike this, and the reason I haven't watched Joy of Life and several others as well.

Viki has been a hit-miss for me with Chinese, sometimes they are good with explanations, other times their meaning is wrong, especially newly released dramas that haven't been curated well. Netflix usually has better subs in any language, they have big budgets to pay for good translators, and that's why they release already with subs available. And more important, they have millions of paid subscribers around the world and can't afford to build a bad reputation with any subs.
Happy for the 'book' story inside the drama, because the FL only meets the ML for the first time few minutes before the end. Thankfully I found out before watching it. I know they are done so because of censorship. But for me, the disrupting fact that it's a story within another, it renders meaningless the 'book' story I watched before the end,

First of all, you can easily see that NicolaServo is not fluent in English, and is trying to say that it was "disturbing", if he knew there was rape and suicide references, he would not have "wasted his time" watching it. Those things are triggering for many people. AND no tags included rape or suicide, instead all of them allude to a nice warm youth and future reunion plot. I already thanked NicolaServo for letting me know about this, which made me decide not to watch it.

Then there should be a tag about rape and about suicide, because they are triggering factors for some users. Therefore, it's not the fault of viewers who encountered it without previous warning, so I respect their comments. The tags implied a warm nice youth and reunion. No 'psychological' in the genres either.
Good but fall off later on. Marry my husband is better.
I gave 5 to MMH, I even wrote a review with all of my ranting... I know I'm in a minority, but even so, this drama is better in my opinion (not for discussion, it's my opinion), in 2 areas: several subplots of MMH were unbelievable, plus the acting of most characters was atrocious.
