I missed Xiaoge so bad that when I finally saw him again in Archives: The Nanyang Mystery, I got soooo happy!!! I missed my boy so much! ππ₯Ί I can't wait for S2 of Time Raiders :(
I am loving this drama and it's been one of my most anticipated ones for a long time. I love seeing the VoS, ADWAD, and MM reunions here and the interactions between them! There is also a LYF reunion but haven't really seen them interact or if they'll ever. I absolutely love all the dramas I just mentioned and still find it crazy looking at the insane cast haha I only watched 3 eps and am excited to watch more π₯Ή
mind you they erased at least 3 characters in the novel to give zyr screentime, he get a equal billing in a female…
Thanks for your explanation. It's good to know he wasn't mistreated. Once again, I never read the novel so I am purely stating my own opinion about the drama with what I just watched. I just think imo the problem with this drama is they decided to not write the side characters well making it feel less interesting and boring. This is just my opinion. If the drama did better in the writing aspect especially the characterizations of the characters, it would have made a bigger impact on me. But sadly, that wasn't the case. I am not caring about just one actor but just the whole drama overall and how each character was written. If you read my whole comment, you would know I wasn't only caring just about Zhou Yiran. It's the issues with the writing/script. To me, a drama is not well-done if most of the characters aren't doing it for me, and aren't well-written, or if things just don't make sense. Even if it's Zhou Yiran, if the drama isn't doing it for me, I won't finish it just bc he's in it. I'll drop it if the story isn't holding up for me.
mind you they erased at least 3 characters in the novel to give zyr screentime, he get a equal billing in a female…
tbh I didn't read the novel but I did hear there were like 3 guys that liked her or smth and zhou yiran's was one of the guys but the romance wasn't heavy-focused and he was barely shown in the novel (plz correct me if I'm wrong since I did not read the novel). I don't care if the romance isn't focused. it just feels kinda weird that he is considered main character when it doesn't rlly feel like he is. I think FL is the only true main character imo. I mean, I thought of this with other dramas as well where it feels like there's only one true main character when they put multiple on the list. I really do like Zhou Yiran as an actor but I didn't mean to make it seem like I cared about him only? If that's what you got from what I wrote, I apologize.
I should have jumped off this train wreck around the halfway point when I started questioning some of the writing.…
I feel the same way. I felt like dropping at Ep.16 and now I just regret it so much bc now I'm on Ep.22 and just feel like having to finish it now bc of how close I am. I regret not dropping it earlier cuz I kept forcing myself to push through. I need to srsly start doing this more often instead of giving myself some hope I'll like it more later (I enjoyed the first 10 eps but after that, I just got sooo bored)
Tbh I used to love this drama (first 10 eps) but after that, I got so bored unfortunately. Now it really feels like male lead becomes a side character in the 2nd half and the villains take up a lot of screentime. He really doesn't feel like a main character now with his little to no screentime in each episode. I also got really tired of the villains already early on. They aren't even interesting to me. Like we don't get enough backstory of them to even know why they make the decisions they want to make which makes them boring to me. I'm just finishing for the sake of finishing since I am close anyway and it's short but I do regret not dropping at Ep.16 when I thought of doing it bc even after that, I kept forcing myself to watch it. Def not my cup of tea esp with the other really great dramas that have been or are airing (making this appear even more boring in comparison). The story def has pacing issues and many things left out which could've made it a whole lot better. But peace out bc including this, I'm already watching 4 currently airing dramas and need to finish this asap to cut it down to 3 LOL
My thoughts after watching 3 eps.First of all, I do not get disappointed at all (for now), that it is the drama,…
Yes I heard it will get darker later on and ofc it starts off as comedy but man I am looking forward to it cuz tbh I rlly like those kind of dramas ππ₯Ή
OST where? He got one in Rosy Clouds and I think it was mentioned during HPJC booting ceremony or interview that…
I actually just found out they released the previews for it. I've been busy to check but I'll def check the preview later after work! So happy he's got an OST π Hope he continues to get one for each drama he stars in π₯Ή
I am so happy Deng Wei is finally not dubbed after watching him in 3 other dramas where he is jdjsjks (tho that VA does suit him ngl) but its so refreshing to hear him in his real voice!
Only watched 1 ep but I already love it and tho I was prepared, I am still so surprised and amazed to see the insane cast like its soooo crazyyy danggg!!!!
I know this is so random but one of the most things I was worried about is my Rui getting dubbed so as soon as I heard his voice, I was soooo happy and relieved πππ Bc they dubbed almost every character here but I am so happy our experienced dubber always can choose to dub himself. I will never be used to hearing him in a different voice. I love his character so much like why is he sooo adorableee!!!?!?!? He kinda reminds me of Ji Ling with how cute he is ahhh, I love him sooo much π I still can't believe I am watching him again :( its always a surprise but makes me rlly happy and can't believe it whenever his drama is airing bc of how not many of them release in a year so I am happy to watch him again ππ₯Ή
Wow, people are being annoying in the comments. The characters aren't blood brothers so shipping them is totally…
I agree omg! I can't believe ppl in the comments. There are dramas where these things do happen. Like you mentioned some others, the main one I thought of was 'Go Ahead' (the way Zhang Xincheng is there lol). I will say I wasn't into the romance there but that is an example of how children who grow up together can become lovers in the future. Same with K-Drama Pinocchio....
They are brothers! Can people in the comments section stop shipping them? It's because people like that exist…
They are not blood-related tho. They were both taken/adopted into the Zhang family and not originally a Zhang by blood if yk what I mean. So it isn't weird to ship them. It's like similar to that of Blood River. They both have Su last name because they were taken/adopted into the Su Clan, not that they are blood-related. And everyone ships them too. There's nothing wrong with shipping the two
I really don't understand how such a well written, well acted, well shot story is sitting at 8.5 while Romance…
It's 8.6 now! :) Tbh I'm not so big on romance when it comes to dramas but I rlly like it here! And ofc I always stay for the plot and writing. If it's bad and boring, then... yeah it would make me like the drama less and rate the dram lower
